Good quality service

Estimator Paul, such a classy gentleman, came out promptly after my email request for a free estimate, and courteous and friendly Steve and Mitch were at my house to work on it the following week. The work was done in 45 minutes, while Steve shared with me some useful tips for the house moving forward. I hope we won't need their help anytime soon, but if we did, I would call them without hesitation.

Work was done quickly and professionally at a much better price than anticipated. Cooling costs after the work was completed were down 15-25% and heating costs seem to be reduced as well but haven't been through enough of the season yet to get a good handle on those savings yet.

Arrived 20 minutes before the scheduled service as I had to meet my wife there from work, they were not flustered about the early arrival . We knew what we wanted but the women ( can't remember her name, so sorry!) was helpful and asked if we had a window antenna. We were not sure, so she went out to help us look and pointed it out and explained that 3M would be the best because the other brand has metallic properties that interfere with radio reception. So that pointed out to us that she was making sure we were getting the best for our vehicle. She said 3-4 hours with info on after installment and left to go eat breakfast. As we went out the front door, they already had gotten in the car to get started!
After eating breakfast I remembered that we wanted to make a payment with a certain credit card in my name. My wife had someone dropping her off at lunch to pick the car up because I couldn't pick her up. We had to stop by Northstar to pay before taking my wife back to work, and it had been only an hour or so since we dropped the car off. We walked in and explained our reason for payment now and had no problem with that. Well EVEN knowing the women said 3-4 hours, my wife asked if it was done or almost done. Without hesitation the women went and asked the guys working on the car how soon it will be done, they answered politely and not rude at all! Said it was 2 to 2.5 hours, perfect for lunchtime.
My wife picked up the car and was informed not to roll down the windows for 7 days and there might be a few small bubbles that will smooth out over time. Hardly any bubbles at all! Good Job! And placed bright orange stickers on the window switches to remind us not to roll down the windows to make sure the adhesive cure properly! After 3 weeks the window tint works and looks great! After deciding to have our bedroom window tinted we called NorthStar. We had used them previously and was pleased with their service. This time was no exception. These people are a breath of fresh air in today's service oriented businesses. We received an estimate and work was completed within 3 business days. (a weekend in between). The gentleman that did the work arrived at the designated time and did the work professionally and efficiently. We couldn't have asked for better service. We have had a 90 degree day since and the tinting kept the room much cooler. Good job! We will recommend this company over and over.

They arrived on time on the date specified. The workers were professional and friendly. The product has so far been excellent. It is in a metal building and so far even on 100+ temp days the inside has stayed a consistent 80-85 degrees. That's without a HVAC system installed yet.

I contacted the company early in the week of Novmeber 8. Mr. Paul Miller, the estimator, returned my call. He came out to the house and gave us an estimate. He was prompt, courteous, and professinal. We set up a date to have the service done, and the technicians arrived within the timeframe we were given. They blew the insulation into the attic and, as far as I know, did a good job. Definitely recommend them.

Estimator came soon after contact. Estimate matched my expected payment, I found I had dealt with the company in years past and it was satisfactory then. I arranged for a time and date of installation. The truck was on time, installers were considerate and neat. Job was done sooner that I expected. The house feels less breezy and warmer. Installer explained when I asked questions. Can't complain about a thing.
