NEW FRONTIER LAWN & TREE CARE

Beware working with Kenneth Matthies of New Frontier Lawn Care.  No contracts nothing in writing, but they will claim they sent you a notice a couple months prior.  Well if you don't return the notice telling them you don't want them to service your yard they come do it anyway and then send you a bill.   We never received a notice from them. As a matter to fact we sent notice to them 2 months prior to the service telling them we were moving and would contact them when we moved into our new home.  He claims he didn't get our letter and I contend we never got his letter.   So in keeping with true customer service, what they should have done was apologized for the mistake, cancelled the bill and said they look forward to working on our new home.  
Kenneth Matthies got on the phone and cursed at my wife, and myself telling me he would battle us forever to get his 88.85. He had dealt with this stuff before and he knows how to collect.  Of course they do. It's winter so they are slow.  He sends out trucks to spray unsolicited homeowners, bills them and if 30% of them actually pay then look at the great scam he has .
He needed the money so I paid him but have waned off 2 other customers of his, and am going for many more.  
You may have good luck with him, We didn't. 
He gives you a lot of smoke and mirror stories about how you are not bound by a contract but if you dont notify him to stop they keep on coming.   We did use him last summer but did not ask for them to come anymore. They took it upon themselves to start treating the yard again.
