Longhofer Lawn and Tree Care

We hired Longhofer Lawn and Tree care to spray our trees LAST year (2021). Since then, two of our pine trees have died, which we don't necessarily blame them for but was definitely a factor in why we weren't planning on getting our trees sprayed again. However, yesterday (6/27/22) afternoon we received a bill for almost $150 because they showed up and sprayed our trees WITHOUT US ASKING THEM TO. When my husband called them to inquire about why we received a bill and why they sprayed our trees without us asking them to. They stated that in January they sent a letter out to their customers basically stating that they had us enrolled in an annual plan and that if we wanted to opt out we had to contact them. First of all, we did not receive a letter in January and second we never requested to be enrolled in an annual plan. THIS IS NOT RIGHT. They told us that if we don't pay half then they will get all the documents together to prove that we owe them money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Longhofer came that day and gave me an estimate, and despite it being their busy season, returned the next day to apply the treatment.  The people were very professional and courteous, and did a nice job.  I asked if they would do a one time treatment, rather than an all year plan, and they agreed. I would certainly use them again.

I started using them just this year. I liked them because they didn't try to oversell me on services. They just recommended occasional upkeep. They are very nice people. They called before they came, and showed up when they said they would. Very efficient, professional, and nice. They were competitively priced as well.

They always remember to cut and I think they're fine.

We have been using them for about a year. My husband uses them and he really likes them. We will use them again in the future.

They are good people.
