My husband called these guys due to good ratings he read online.  Spoke to one of the guys on the phone and let them know we had a 500.00 electric bill and we wanted to make sure it wasn't something to do with our AC.  Also, we just bought the house a few months ago, we have a home warranty and we had it inspected in April so we were aware of most issues but the super high bill just made us think we needed a good second opinion. 
Jared came to the home, inspected everything that is on a 19 pt inspection list for most comparable companies.  My husband said he was knowledgeable, nice and professional and did look at everything and came to the conclusion that our system is inefficient and draws high amps.  Jarod said that Al would be calling to give a quote on a more efficient unit for the home.  No one has called and it is now 6 weeks later.  The bill came in the mail but no phone ever rang. I guess what makes me furious is that we already knew we had a 12 year old system therefore it is not the most up to date for efficiency but to charge almost 3x what others do for a service call and inspection is just crazy.  I will never use nor recommend them. 
After hearing that everything was fairly normal and our system was just really inefficient, we found that the former owners had not been very diligent at cleaning the lint trap to the dryer and that the ductwork was clogged.  Having to dry clothes several times + 101 degree days is what was making our electric bill go through the roof. My husband spent hours taking down all the dryer ductwork, cleaning it out and now we have cut our kilowatt hours down from 131 per day to 78 per day. We are hoping this was the major culprit.
Bottom line, I had a maintenance agreement with my former home in VA that had a heat pump upstairs and a furnace down that didn't cost much more (275 for BOTH units) than what this one trip cost to learn what we already knew.  The kicker, they didn't bother to contact us to review what could help.  Look on Angie's List for 89$ or 97$ 19 point inspections because in a nutshell, that really is what was done.  We were charged 3 hours x 95$ and I guess tax was added on to that.  Know what you're in for when you call them.

Kruse was very responsive and told me that because I called near 5PM they would have to charge me overtime. I was willing to pay it because I was desperate for A/C over the weekend when it was supposed to get into the 90s.
The gentleman that came out to the house took quite awhile looking for the problem and at first thought it was something wrong with our electrical hook-up. He finally figured out it was a blown transformer and fixed it fairly quickly. He was at the house for about an hour and a half total which pushed the service price up although the cost of the part was the most expensive at over $200.
If I were desperate again I might call them, but if I had more time to shop around on Angie's list I might find a better deal with someone else.

This company had been recommended by a friend.  After seeing the high scores on Angie's List, decided to give them a try.  I called when I needed a service call, and thankfully they got a service tech over quickly when the A/C quit.  I thought their prices were competitive.  The service guy was great, repaired my unit, gave me great info.  He recommended a new unit  within the next year or two, so thought I'd get an estimate.  A week or so later, the estimator guy came over, looked at what I needed and said he would get me an estimate  via email.  I never received it via email, nor did I receive a hard copy estimate in the mail; not even a follow-up call.  Their service people, they were great, no complaints.  Their sales dept didn'ty follow up actively.  After not hearing anything for weeks/months, I complained that I didn't hear back from anyone.  The sales guy called back, provided the needed information and tried to make it right.  I appreciated that I was a valued customer that despite a mishap, they tried to correct it and followed up well.

On this visit they found what could have been a future problem with mold. They changed all of the filters & did a thorough cleaning. I am so grateful for Jason who is the one who usually comes to do the service calls. He does an amazing job. I believe he saved us from a very large future problem.

The morning of 8/24/2012 my AC was not working.  I called Kruse Corporation and they arrived around 1:30.  The service man arrived, replaced the contactor, checked the refrigerant and added as needed.  My unit is working great.  He was very professional and the charges were reasonable. About a year prior my cooling coil drain pan was leaking.  I called a local company and they determined the pan was leaking, not repairable and a replacement pan was not available.  I contacted Kruse Corporation and they fabricated a replacement pan for $120.  A bargain considering the alternative was a new cooling coil and likely a new AC system.  Needless to say I am very pleased with their service.

I received 3 bids to replace a furnace and supply plenum. All bids were for identical work, but John with Kruse Corp was the most professional and lowest bid. They were very detailed on explaining to me what the issue was, how they were going to fix it, and why they were doing what they were doing. The communication was excellent on when the job was to begin and when it was going to be completed. John came out after it was installed to make sure everything was satisfactory. The workers during installation were friendly and made sure everything was just as clean as they left it. They also did a complimentary check of my A/C unit. Would definately recommend!!!

My experience with them was very good. They were one of the 7 or 8 companies that had given me an estimate. The installation of a furnace or an A/C is the most important thing. They can give a low price, but if they install it wrong and it could be the very best unit, but if they do a poor job of installing, it is going to be trashed. The installation work was great. I was real happy with their work. They were very professional. I would use them in the future.
