Their most recent delivery was two pieces of artwork, which they very carefully deposited in the appropriate spots in my house even though delivery was only required to the front door.  They consistently go above and beyond - after delivering my bed last summer, they asked to wash their hands before setting it up.  They routinely ask if they can remove packing materials.  I believe they have the local contract for these delivery services.  Basically, we have ordered a bunch of stuff in the past year and Kings Moving and Storage has always delivered it - and I know why.  They do a great job.

We moved from Wichita, Kansas to Artesia, New Mexico in January of 2010. Our inst The packers arrived the day before the movers, and they were very polite and courteous. They packed with amazing efficiency, and were very careful with our belongings. They packed our stuff into very sturdy boxes, and took extra care to make sure none of our things were broken. They did a great job... Movers: The movers were the best part of our move by far. There were 2 father/son teams, and another gentleman who loaded and moved our belongings. First off, they came in and protected our floors, walls, and even put down carpet protector throughout most of the home. Once they were finished protecting the home, the loading of our stuff took place in an orderly fashion for sure. They were ULTRA-CAREFUL with our things, and made this clear to us from the start. I cannot stress how much they took care of our stuff. All of the furniture was padded, wrapped in blankets, then shrinkwrapped, then taped. It was then carefully loaded on the truck and arrived in perfect condition. We have very nice leather furniture that is odd shaped, and I was worried that the arms might get lossened or broken, but after watching them, all of my fears went out the window! There was not a single thing that was broken that we have found. And to tell you the truth, they took such awesome care of our stuff, I doubt I will report anything, even if I find something broke. They treated our belongings like they were theirs, and that is all I could have asked for. I know I would have broke TONS OF STUFF if I would have moved myself..... I know they would have no problem with a claim if I filed one though. I cannot stress how great these movers were. Clean, courteous, respectful, and fun to be around. They enjoyed their jobs, and had fun moving us. We received a binding estimate from Tod King (The owner I believe) and we opted to charter the truck for our personal use from Wichita KS, to Artesia, NM. We opted for this because we needed a specific delivery date, and it was not that much more in price. Not a single dime was asked for over the binding price. I have heard of some horror stories about this, but not from Kings. They charged what they said they would, and were straight shooters they entire time. I did however, give a fair amount of tips based on what I thought was an AWESOME JOB by everyone involved. I gave these tips because I wanted to though, not because it was suggested, or implied. We bought pizza on moving day, and breakfast on unloading day, not because we had to, but because it was an anjoyable experience talking and sharing a meal with all of the great people who made our move a success. They were just a great crew, and I would do business with them again in a heartbeat! These guys set the standards by which all other movers should be measured by. GO WITH KINGS MOVING AND STORAGE. YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID!
