"Current management has just been made aware of the unsatisfactory work that was done at the reviewer's residence. The customer will be contacted this week to resolve any quality issues performed in 2013 by J/P Painting."
In addition, he worked with my insurance who has been impossible! And never let up. A great advocate for customers. His brother can do anything, great guy as well.
J/P arrived at my house April 10th 2013, and they plan on being finished July 5th, 2013. So far, as you can see from the dates, they have taken an incredibly long time to finish the job. Sebastian runs a dysfunctional business, and apparently has trouble keeping appointments.
I have set up 4 times for J/P to complete the job, as requested by Sebastian, and they failed to show up on those times. Sebastian has set up meetings with me, and never shown up for those meetings.
Officially, July 5th, my house is complete, except the deck, which I decided to hire a different company for. I am happy with the quality of the job, just not the experience to get it done. I understand Sebastian wants me to give a good review now that the project is finished but, after this experience, why would I want other individuals to be treated the same way. I am happy with the product now that it is complete, so I will say they do good work.
First, the estimate, which I found very reasonable, detailed and presented in a timely manner. I also liked the professionalism of Shane and the teams. I liked that I could have a Sherwin Williams Representative come to my home to help me decide the right colors for the house.
I had several areas that needed repairs which were performed by woodworkers Hector and Sergio. On time and very professional as well as very skilled. I was very impressed that they fixed a window I was afraid might have to be replaced entirely.
They replaced siding.... turns out, there were some termites around the porch area, which was a total surprise. They let me know to call out an exterminator as they continued their job, which became more extensive because of the termites. Shane Estell let me know exactly what would be needed to fix the damage and extra cost right away, which I thought was very reasonable. He threw in some Tyvek at no extra charge.
All wood and trim were scraped or sanded when needed, and the whole house and shed were power washed. Sherwin Williams lifetime caulking was used in appropriate places and the bare spots primed. Next the paint was applied. These people know their jobs and have positive attitudes too.
I will use J/P again. I am very satisfied with the total look, it made the house look like new. I have already gotten a estimate for an inside job which I will have done this summer. I am very impressed with the skill and knowledge and professionalism of this company, even Veronica, the secretary was very helpful.
After working on the back door they had to come back again to replace the wood under the carpet before they could replace the
threshold. They were able to finish that and it seems stable. They used a smaller plastic / aluminum threshold, which is ok but it was obvious they were not sure how to install it at the time as they had to come back twice to finish the work.
The front door came out very nice and beautiful. The have a good carpenter and it was obvious that he knew what he was doing.
After all was done, one of the guys came out and made sure all the small touches were taken care of and that nothing was missed.
