"Ms [Member name]: I am sorry you were not satisfied with our service. Let me, again, clarify some of the issued we ran into at your home. First, you asked us to install your 3 cable boxes and program those remotes to work the TV's. As you acknowledge, we did everything you asked us to do on that job. Second, the "current" remote you mention in the review was in fact an older, generic universal remote that wasn't compatible with the new cable boxes. We spoke about other solutions with newer remotes but you didn't want to buy a newer remote that would solve your problem. Finally, regarding the TV/Sound connection: Your TV was mounted on the wall and the audio equipment was in another room. All the wiring connecting the equipment is run in the walls between these rooms. We did not do this original installation. It was done by another company When our tech arrived you asked him if he could connect the DVD sound directly to the TV (The DVD sound is currently connected directly to your audio receiver in the other room). He explained to you that this would involve running new wiring inside your walls - something that we were not equipped to do but the original installer certainly could do. Again, when I advised you of this when we spoke on the phone you were unwilling to contact the original company. In your case, we did everything within our power to fulfill your requests and to offer you solutions. Unfortunately, our solutions were not acceptable to you. And within the scope of your original work request -installing your cable boxes & remotes - you acknowledge that we did everything you asked and expected. If you ever wish to discuss other options or solutions further, please give us a call."
Follow-up is impressive, with courteous attention to questions.
I first used these folks to fix a TV. Instead of throwing away an entire circuit board, they actually traced the problem down to a faulty capacitor. While I was in the store I saw at least a dozen flat screen TVs they were working on.
The second time was with the radio mentioned above. It has a very small internal jack, and I'm surprised they could even get to it. But they did and did a great job with it.
The place seems to be run by old geezers that have probably been doing this kind of thing for decades.
