Overall, the visit was excellent! They were able to schedule my appointment the day after I called. My dog, who usually hates men, absolutely loves Dr. Helten! Dr. Helten is very patient with my dog, who is rather squirmy, and doesn't stand still on the scale very well. He gave my dog a thorough physical examination, asked about his behavior, and answered all of my questions. His vet techs are super nice, they're so gentle with the animals! My dog did not yelp or cry once during the vaccinations. The technician, Dawn, who drew his blood for the heart-worm test, did an excellent job! She found a vein on the first try, and didn't even mess up when my dog flinched and tried to pull his leg away. The only time my dog cried was during the microchip injection, just because the needle is SO large! The staff always treats me and my pet with nothing but professionalism and respect. I appreciate that the technicians and Dr. Helten take extra time to answer any questions and they really listen to any concerns that I have.
