 + -1 moreDr. Maki is AMAZING!! She is friendly, upbeat, and very comforting. She genuinely cares about her patients, and makes you feel at ease. She answers all questions without making you feel rushed. I absolutely LOVED being cared for by Dr. Maki and highly recommend her to all my friends - especially the pregnant or soon-to-be pregnant ones!! **I almost gave a B rating on *availability,* but that was with great hesitation... The ONLY reason I almost didn't give an A rating: she is in VERY high demand (with good reason, as she is SUPERB)! While pregnant, I had absolutely NO problems whatsoever scheduling my appointments within the time frame (whether a month out or just a week out). However, I didn't realize how in-demand she was, and after I had the baby I waited to schedule my 6-week post-partum appointment (should've scheduled it as soon as I got home from the hospital)... So it ended up being a 9-week checkup instead, HAHA! And if you want a yearly appointment, it takes several months (partly b/c mine was scheduled around the time of the ice storm that shut down the city, so they had LOTS of appointments to reschedule and squeeze in). However, if you have an actual issue that needs to be addressed they can get you in much quicker.
Description of Work: I started seeing Dr. Maki in August 2012 - we had recently moved to Wichita and I was approx 17 weeks pregnant with our third child. She provided care throughout that pregnancy - monthly at first, gradually increasing to weekly appointments at the very end of the pregnancy - as well as post-delivery care and annual check-ups. (Note - I always saw her at the St Teresa location.)
