Everything has been done in fine fashion at competive prices.  We had one issue over the last several years that needed further attention.  They were right back out the next day to correct the problem at no charge. I would and have recommended them to family, friends, & neighbors.

So far, so good.  They came when they said they would, were finished when they said they would be finished.  The job produced a fair amount of debris--the furnace and AC they replaced and some sheet metal--and the clean-up after the job was done was complete.  I did not obtain 19 estimates, but did research the equipment they installed and some informal research on what jobs like this cost in Wichita, and the price was competitive.  The proprietor added a new thermostat, when I asked about one, at no charge.  The two guys in my house all day--I was gone most of the day--were professional and courteous.  Only reason I have not rated A across the board is that I've only had the equipment up and running for ten days or so, and the furnace not at all, so can't say how it works.  If it runs as the AC is running to date, I will be completely satisfied.

At first I was suprised I was able to get an appointment during the "busy season". The serviceman was punctual and called before arriving. On arrival, was well dressed, professional, and went right to work. He knew his stuff, and got everything running like new again in a short time. He even pointed out potential future problems and offered to handle it now (which I had to decline due to finances). In the end, the bill was about what I was expecting- perhaps even the low end of average for that sort of work. One of my better experiences in dealing with HVAC services.

After reading other reviews on Angie's list, I made contact with Gene Hensley company. The receptionist was polite and was able to schedule a repair visit agreeable to my schedule. The repair technician was punctual, professional, and only performed the service required to improve the air conditioner's performance. In this case, this involved cleaning a very dirty condenser coil. I would definitely contact them again for HVAC service.

I came home from a party Sunday night and heard the squeaking from the unit. Called Hensley's as soon as I could Monday morning. With my wife and I both working, the dispatcher on the phone couldn't tell us a time they would be available just that they would call us 20-30 minutes before they were to head to our house. They called around 1 p.m. and my wife met them at the house. They got the job done replacing the motor and cleaning the unit and checking the charge by 3 p.m. They were very polite and informative to my wife as she was the one staying home.

The service tech called at 7:45am the next morning said he was on his way. Arrived at 8am and had my unit recharged and was on his way within 45 minutes. The cost was a great value considering the response time and quality of his work.
