Mr. Hurt came to our home with samples, was very professional and we had carpet and pad replaced. Installers were very careful in our home and did a great job. Mr. Hurt was there for the begging of the install to make sure that we were happy. Great job.

We had an excellent experience.  From start to finish.  I think the best part was having them bring the samples to our home, so we could put them in our light and near our furniture...it made the decision process so much easier.  This is my second time to use Floor Coverings International.  We will use them again because they are convienent, they deliver what they promise and the price is good for the quality of the carpet and tile, the high level service and the quality installation.

Installers were professional, polite, friendly and courteous 100% of the time.  The floors look flawless.  I woulld recommend them to anyone, anyttime.

Once I had expressed an interest in obtaining a quote from his company, the proprietor contacted me promptly.  He provided me with two different quotes, which depended on the type of flooring I chose to have installed. He showed me samples of laminate and carpet according to my requests:  good quality but at a reasonable price.  I wanted the work done by a particular date and he also accomodated me in this regard.  I have no qualms about working with this company in the future.  On the other hand the person contracted to do the job was not the most  professional.  Personal issues (domestic problems and car trouble) seemed to plague him throughout the entire process.  He was nice enough and I felt comfortable having him in my home, but he always appeared to be rushing and eventually had to come back to clear up some problems, minor problems, but you could tell they were errors made in haste.  As time has passed, I see little issues that were not so obivious initially.  I was also surprised that when the job was completed and I asked him certain questions about care and maintenance, he could not answer:  I had to download information from the internet:  he asked if he could have those pages.In retrospect, I would not have chosen laminate in the kitchen area.  Even though I have been overly cautious about standing water on the floor, it still appears as though the edges of the planks are swelling.  In the owners defense, he offered laminate as a choice because he felt that ceramic (which was my first choice) would be more expensive and I did ask him to keep the costs a low as possible.Again, I would not have a problem with working with the company in the future.  I just have to do my homework before making final decisions.

They showed up when they said that they would and they did the work in a timely fashion. The refinishing was fine. I have not personally seen the floor yet but the tenant said that the floor was fine and they sent me a picture. It looked fine. I thought that their price was good as it was much better than the other bids that I received. They were very responsive and punctual. They were very professional.

The guy's name is Rod Hurt. He did an excellent job. He hired all of the contractors and he brought all of the samples to the house. We picked them out and he helped with the colors. He also found an interior designer for us. He oversaw all of the people that did all the work and if we didn't like it, they redid it. He was very low key as far as sales was concerned. That was greatly appreciated. We had just had another salesman in who was extremely pushy. When Rod came in, he told us what they would do and what would be the services they provided. It was like we didn't really have to do it unless we wanted to. We replaced some of the carpeting with hardwood and the price was very competitive. We didn't have to find any of the people to install it. He provided all of that. His price was competitive.

Rod came to the house and brought samples. He did the measuring and provided the estimate, advised us about porcelain tile. Rod is very nice to work with, personable and not pushy at all. No surprises with the bill, it was just as represented. The installers were really great, careful, meticulous, punctual and thorough. Rod made an onsite visit to check the daily progress. Both Rod and the installers were responsive to our needs and requests. They made some changes along the way to accommodate our needs. They kept us from making mistakes in the installation. They are the professionals and give very valuable advice. Very considerate about letting us know the schedule, when they would be here. They take pride in doing an excellent job. Do double-check the estimate, all work to be done. It is easy to make mistakes in ordering. Verify all work to be done. Sometimes you make changes in the plan. Be sure to communicate those changes with the contractor, so you are all on the same page. We are very pleased with the results, it looks great and they tried very hard to please us. Would use them again!

The month of Feb was hectic because we were remodeling our new office space. Definitely burning the candle from both ends so when it came time to get carpet, Rod Hurt made the sale and installation a breeze. Rod came to my office and showed me the samples which saved me a great amount of time! We agreed on style and color and set a date for installation. The installers showed up on time and Rod was there to direct the details. The installation looks great! The installers were friendly and professional...and even assembled a special mat for the front door from the scraps left over from the job - NO Charge!! Rod was there at the end of the job to ensure the job was right and to my satisfaction. By far - this part of the remodel went the best and I thank Floor Coverings Intl for that!

It was great. I was very pleased with the end result and the installers were a very pleasant change from what I have experienced in the past.

Rod arrived and measured our room. The next day I had an email with the quote. Once we decided to do the project he ordered the materials. A week later his crew were removing the old carpeting and installing the new hardwood flooring. The installers were efficient, respectful and cleaned up very well after themselves. It was a wonderful experience and completely easy for us.

Rod brings the showroom to the customer. He asked a lot of questions to find out what we liked and didn't and my wife and I were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He was able to help us make our minds up on the type of floor we wanted for our kitchen and entryway. He ordered the floor and told us it would be delivered in two weeks and he scheduled us for the floor installed at that time. They came on time and did everything they said they would. It took them two days but they were there each day on time and preformed the work beautifully. The new floor just looks amazing.
