Buckle Up and Drive Safe! In 1955 Grant Davis accepted a position from his stepbrother, Bob Moore at Bob Moore Oldsmobile. From this association, Grant acquired other dealerships in the city and began fostering strong community ties. As a result of hard work, good customer service and a strong commitment to community, over the past 55 years, Davis-Moore has become Kansas's largest auto group. Job was completed quicker than expected. Pickup would barely start or run when I entered the Service area, I told them I thought it was the fuel pump and after close evaluation by the professional Service personnel it was, indeed, the fuel pump. An approximate completion time was given to me and of three hours, but they completed the job in about 2 hours which was a surprise to me.

My overall experience was great until I discovered that I had a 225/65R17 tire on my van which was mismatched from the others. My van takes a 225/60R17. This tire was made in the 19th week of 2012. I had service done on my vehicle at Davis Moore in June 2012. Went to Georgia in July. Had ankle surgery in August so did not drive the van again until I had service done in December 2012. At neither one of those times was it reported to me that I had a mismatched tire. Is it possible that it was given to me by Davis Moore in either June or December? Would you admit it if that happened? Especially if a tire was blown taking it down from the rack in December. Either way, I had to purchase a brand new tire because of it. The tires are something I will definitely check
each and every time I get my van back from Davis Moore.

They claimed to have determined some of the issues causing the symptoms and charged us for the requested repairs. The other issues (GPS/DVD player) were given an excuse that the factory has determined they are normal and no repairs are needed, which is bs because other models of the same year don't have that problem. They, the factory, just don't want to pay to fix it. That's not really the fault of the dealership but I became more suspicious of their excuses when I had to take the truck back because the services I did pay for did nothing to fix the problems! So I had to return and took the service manager for a drive to point out the problem that was supposed to have been fixed.
Before we even got back to the dealership he was telling me how hard it was going to be to find the cause of the problem and that he thought the factory had some memo out declaring it to be normal! (So my thought is why did you charge me $200 in the first place?) Once confronted about this in front of his co-workers he claimed to never have said that. They weren't going to do anything about the money I had already paid and weren't going to do anythingelse to try to make it right.
