Barb's Dog Grooming

She talked me into shaving my lab. Gut instinct said no. But I did it Went and picked her up and lab looked like a pit bull. The first thing I said to barb was. You shaved her tail!!! I hated that. A few days later I saw blood splatters all over my wall. I then realized her tail was injured. It had no protection on it. And she injured it. I told barb. She said I shave them all the time anyway her tail never healed so eventually it had to be amputated. Barb did not pay $800 vet bill. Or take responsibility for it. Do not ever let any groomer touch your labs tail. They have powerful tails. Need protected. I will never here that thumping lab tail again. She talked to my vet about it. He told her all I know is pearl had her tail for 9 years.

She's a little pricey.  She moved and now I have a new groomer.

It is quite a drive for me, but, I like her well enough to take the drive. I didn't take my dog there recently, because I expected the weather to get cold and I figured he might get cold, and he's looking pretty shaggy. I normally take him every 2 months. I go that far, because they tell me they will have him 4-6 hours, take him in and out of the little cage, bathe him, comb him, and he is a nervous dog. When I take him there, she does it in 30-45 minutes. I go to McDonald's and get a cup of coffee. Then I go back, and he's done, and ready to pick up. She will meet you at 5 am if you're willing, as she is a real go-getter, and worker. I have taken him at 6 am. I give them high ratings and will continue to go there in the future.
