ADT Security Services, Inc

From day one it was a fight with ADT not willing to help or listen.

My experience with them has been positive so far. I never had a security system before. When they first came out, they sent someone to the house to talk to me, so that we would understand everything that we needed to know about the security system. I did not have to figure out what's going on over the phone.

They were horrible. I paid a lot and didn't have service from day one. They never installed it correctly, and continued to charge me, even though the alarm system never worked. Every time they came out, it was a $25 service charge. They charged me $700 because the people that bought my house don't have ADT, and I had signed a contract I wasn't aware of. They told me to wait a couple months, and hopefully the new owners will get ADT.

Personally I think the rates were pretty expensive. I find the system difficult to use. I had a in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania so I use the system called West Pac electric and that was easy. That was a wonderful system. I compared the two and ADT has gone over broad on it technology and it was difficult especially for seniors to use. This goes back many years now when we first moved here and got the system installed. They had a lot difficulty installing it because the previous owner had many wire leading into the house because it was the travel service but it was difficult for me to judge. They did spend awful lot of time here. They were professional. They were interested in a customer use all their technology and that’s a big sale pitch that they make. It was difficult as a customer to defend myself against that, kind of salesmanship I understand it from the business point of view so a lot of people that would be very useful I suppose.  I am going to have to redo my security system and I am still debating whether I should go back to ADT or look for another company.

They did a great job. They were very professional and did not try to push other things on to us.

Their good service. I don’t like being disturbed and all that and they understand and they don’t call up, and that’s very good. I have had no problems with them. I pay yearly, and I think it is $130 quarterly.

I am not particularly happy with them. I stay with them out of habit.

I have been using them for twenty years or more. The payment automatically come out of my account. I do not have to talk to them very much. They are not excellent but they are not horrible. I have not looked into anybody else for price.

They were great. They were efficient. They do it all the time, so they know what they are doing. They were punctual, responsive, and professional. I would use this provider again.

I pay $36 a month.  I will use them in the future.

I will continue using them in the future.

I pay $40 a month. Every time I've had any problems, they have responded and taken care of things. I will continue to use them.

They did a good job.  There was nothing spectacular about it.

The service was wonderful and they were knowledgeable.

He was very professional.  He did his job quickly.  He explained everything to me and was friendly.

They are an option but others may want to shop around for someone cheaper. 

I was very pleased with their service. They were very courteous and very helpful. We had it put in the spring and it was in the name of my late husband Patrick Dorsey. They charged us on a monthly basis. When they finished, they explained everything to us and we knew exactly how the system worked when they left us. We felt that their sales presentation, when they came out and talked to us about it, was very good. I have had to terminate their service because I can't afford it any more. My husband passed away in June and I am on reduced income and I am having to cut stuff. I won't be using the service for another 30 days. Their price was very good. My terminating my contract had nothing to do with their service.
