Diehl Construction LLC

First off, I don't usually take the time to write reviews but due to our experience with this business, I felt it was only fair to let others know so they can avoid the mistake we made. Upon signing contract and paying half as a deposit, I was told our project would be done in 3 weeks. Through a series of several promising but dishonest texts, we had to wait over 4 months before our sink was delivered. Diehl had previously agreed to install it upon delivery but I believe he came up with an excuse when he realized the sink was not made correctly to fit in our space. He didn't offer to come back and install and when I asked for invoice, he tried to charge me more than what was originally agreed upon instead of cutting out the installation fee. Our contractor was nice enough to come and install sink after Diehl left and that is when the issues started surfacing. There were several cracks in the backsplash, faucet holes that didn't line up holes in backsplash and seal starting to come off. This was all noticed the day of delivery/installation! When asked how we should go about fixing these issues, Diehl told us he wasn't willing to fix something that wasn't his fault. It's been a little over 2 months since we've had the sink installed and since the seal has been continually chipping off, we scraped off the seal (which came off way too easily) and are now trying to figure out what to do. I like to give good, honest reviews when I can and I hope through this review, I will save someone else the headache and stress that came as a result of using Diehl Construction. To be fair, Jacob really is a nice guy but honestly needs to learn a thing or two about running a good, honest business. It is because of this experience, that I can not recommend Diehl Construction to anyone needing concrete work done.
