Morgenstern Tree Service

This is the second time we have used this service.  The first time was about 10 years ago when we had a couple of very large trees die.  We remembered the company when we had more large trees that were dead or dying this year due to drought conditions and age.  They were near the house and outbuildings and were considered too much work for my "elderly" father.  Jim came out and gave us an initial estimate of 2 to 3 thousand based on the difficulty of the work. 
Once he started the project on a Monday afternoon in 95-103 degree temps, Jim was flexible and he dropped 8 additional trees for a total of about 20 trees by the time he finished Tuesday evening.  Jim did all of the work himself in 1-1/2 days, including the removal of the trees to a pit.  He also made an effort to drop the trees when the owner would have additional family in the area to help rake up the small stuff, which saved us money.   Jim even spent extra time in trimming one tree before dropping it in order to save a younger tree next to it.  He then crawled up and trimmed branches around an electric wire running to the barn in a couple of other trees.
Jim was very easy to work with and timely with his billing.  We plan a second round of tree removal to happen this winter along the pasture fence line along with any others that we missed.
