The work was done well--the plumber appeared to be very skilled-- but attention to our needs regarding the work did not go well and the interaction was unpleasant. There is no way to know but this may have been due to the fact that we are both elderly and disabled. 1. We stated very clearly, in explaining the task, that we needed a plastic hand held shower device (not a heavy metal one) as I use a wheelchair and shower in a seated position--a heavy device falling on my head could cause an injury, When we observed the completed work, the plumber had installed a metal shower head--no apology. He had to go and pick up a different one. 2. the work was about $250 over the estimate we were given. While that estimate may not have included the kitchen work (~$100), it was still quite a bit over the estimate. Again, no apology or explanation. It may have been a difficult estimate to make and we understand that--but, again, such a bill should be accompanied by an explanation of why it was so much higher.

They charge for a whole hour yet they worked for three minutes, very costly.
