"Thank you for your positive comments. We try hard every day with every customer to make them feel like they were treated fairly."
The service center also diagnosed that the fuel throttle sensor needed replaced. They attempted to replace it twice, cited that each time they tried to replace it that the new one burned up, stopped their attempts, put the old one back on and advised us to take it to the Toyota dealership. Since they could not fix the problem they did not charge us for the diagnosis fee which I thought was nice.
The reason I am giving them a C rating overall is because of not only the brackets that were not properly tightened over the radiator and missing rubber piece but because of some other details they did not attend to well. When I went to pick up my car, there was broken car window glass on the driver's side floor board. My car did not have broken windows when I took it in or broken glass anywhere. Perhaps a window was broken at some point and when they were removing parts of the door to repair the locks and windows some old glass fell out. Regardless, it should have been vacuumed up prior to me picking up my car. In addition, there were gray grease marks on my gear shifter and my front passenger seat. It was grease from a mechanic's hands that no one bothered to clean up before I picked my car up. And lastly, there was a small cover missing off of a mechanism near my gear shifter. When I asked them about it they went and looked, said they couldn't find it anywhere and that it must have gotten thrown away. What?? You threw away a piece of my car's interior? Thankfully it is a small piece and just cosmetic but still, that is not ok. One of the mechanics said he would try to find me a replacement cover at a salvage yard and did follow up with me once or twice by phone but said he could never find one. I haven't heard from him again since the last time he called and said he would continue looking. The staff there were all friendly when I dealt with them but the loose radiator brackets, broken glass on the floor, grease marks, and missing cover are all enough to make me not take any of our cars back there again. I was not impressed with their lack of attention to detail.
