Torgeson Electric Service Department

The people from Torgerson are amazing! They provide great customer service. I explained the urgency of our project, was put on a brief hold, and was told they would send an electrician within the hour. The technician arrived, discussed the placement of the outlet with the crew installing our wood floors, and completed the installation of the outlet without interrupting progress on the wood floors. We couldn't be happier or more satisfied with the work and the service provided by Torgerson. We would highly recommend them.

Chris the technician arrived right on time and reviewed the work to be done before starting. He worked efficiently explaining what he would be doing for each request. He diagnosed a circuit problem and fixed it at a lower cost than originally estimated. Some of the work involved having to cut into walls and he cleaned up after the work was done. Will hire again!

I'm so glad I called Torgeson to install a new chandelier. The old iron fixture was hanging from a 20 foot ceiling, and we had been putting off updating it for a while. I called Torgeson to check availability. They got back to me quickly with an opening for the next morning. Perfect! The electrical technician, Chris Edwards, asked if I could take pictures of the fixture and its location so he could plan the installation. The next day, Chris arrived on time- even a little early, and was pleasant, professional, and skilled. The new chandelier looks great. We should have called Torgeson months ago. I am so pleased and will definitely call them again.

The electricians were very professional and cleaned up as they completed each task. They were very friendly and respectful and made me feel at ease for this day-long job. They explained what they were doing to my electrical box and identified a safety issue with the power line connected to my house and suggested I call my electricity provider. After installing my ceiling light fixture, I didn't like the ceiling decorative plate that I had purchased for him to install, so he allowed me to go get the one I wanted and reinstalled the light. He wanted me to be happy with the look of the fixture and I appreciated that. They were very knowledgeable and answered my many questions. I will be using them for all of my electrical needs in the future.

The technician was on time (even a little early) and got the work done in a reasonable manner. He got the fans hung, switches installed, and everything works perfectly. He checked to make sure that everything was rated appropriately for what we were installing, and took care of any needed adjustments. He installed a slightly larger box in the wall than what was needed for the switches because we were planning on putting wemo switches in later, and they are slightly larger than the standard switches. The extra room will come in handy when I go to install those. Our appointment was scheduled timely (I think 3 days from call to appointment time). And the work was done quickly and correctly. We are very happy and would call again.

It was very good. We give them top marks for everything. They were very friendly, they were on time, and they did what they said they would do for the price they said they would do it for. I don't think I could really expect anything more for a normal service call. Like I said, they did everything they were supposed to do. I think it was a fair price. I don't know, I have never really hired anybody like that before. It seemed like a fair price. There was a little bit of a problem with punctuality, but it wasn't a big deal. I thought they did a very good job.

The installations were successful and in addition to the ceiling fans, it was recommended to add braces to hold the fans, and to get the wire boxes up to code, so new boxes and braces were added to hold the ceiling fans in place.

From the moment I called and explained my situation, Torgeson Electric was trying to help. The service desk took my concerns and attempted to give me the fix over the phone free of charge. When that didn’t work I was scheduled for service the next morning as it was within 30 minutes of closing when I called. A technician came an available shortly thereafter and I was called if I wanted him to come out. I accepted, and within 1 ½ hours all of my problems were solved. I would recommend this company from anything from a minor to major electrical repair.

They promptly sent out a friendly and professional fellow, he took care of our home's electrical needs and gave his opinion on further work that may need to be done with no pressure to pay the conpany to do thay extra work right away, just said what he would do if it were his house.

It went really well in a quick timeframe and they went the extra mile to come back and install the fans at a different ime so we could paint ceilings first. Quite honesty, I called several companies and they called back right away and came the next day to look at the job when others did not call back or follow through. Great customer service!
