+ -1 moreGot an appointment for 3 days after I received my newly purchased garbage disposal. Service was prompt, professional, friendly, and fast. Only took about 30-40 minutes to get the old disposal removed (which was on really tight); install the new one and make sure everything worked well with no leaks. And didn't mind a little friendly chatter while he worked. Good price for the installation - 2/3 of the cost was for the service call. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: Nothing i had an appointment 8 to 12 had told them I would be available 9-1 I finally called at 11 since I had no contact from them they cehcked with tech and said it would be close to 1 before he could get to my home. Obviously he couldn't show up and get it fixed before I had to leave at 1. Wasted 1/2 a day of vacation on them. They explained to me how busy they were i thought it was odd to make an appointment and them say how busy they were. Hopefully they won't waste your time.

+ -1 moreas I called The Appliance Shop last Friday, and the receptionist took my information and arranged for a service call on Monday. She indicated that they would give us a phone call on Monday before the technician arrived and give us enough time to be sure to be present when he arrived. On Monday I called back and asked if they could come as early as possible, given that we had some activities that would take us away from the house during the day. She arranged with the technician to make us his second stop for the day, so he was here by 9:30 a.m. When he arrived he dismantled the dryer and carefully checked all of the switches to make sure they were functional and not responsible for the problem. The last step was to check the power source, and he determined that the 220 receptacle was faulty and the reason for the problem. The dryer was fine, the power source unreliable. I indicated I would change out the receptacle on my own. The bill for the analysis was $53.26, a very reasonable price for exactly the information I needed. I changed out the receptacle and the dryer is back in business. Jeremy was professional and very capable. I was completely impressed with the punctuality and performance of the technician and the company. I'd definitely use them again based on this experience.
Description of Work: Did a thorough analysis of a GE electric dryer that wouldn't start, if it started, would stop mid-cycle.
