If I could give this review zero stars I would. On PDQ’s website they have a quote, “the bitterness of poor quality lingers long after the cheap price is forgotten.“ They put this on their website because their prices are not cheap so they are trying to sell people on the high quality of work that they do. However, in my experience with PDQ, the price was high and the quality was still extremely poor. The owner, Mike, was very personable and likable during the estimate and walk through process. Once he had our business, that all changed. First of all, he promised us several times that once his crew started our job he would not send them to a different job until ours was 100% completed. We were told the project would take about 3 months to complete. It took PDQ 9 full months to complete our job and, on multiple occasions, he sent the entire crew to other jobs so nothing got done on our house for a day (or days) at a time. (Actually, there were several things that didn’t end up getting completed until 5 months after Mike pulled his crew…a full 12 months after they were hired). 7 months in, he came in and did a walk-through with his crew and, before leaving, told them that they had two days to finish the job and then he was sending them on to the next job. The crew had more than two days worth of work left to do so they rushed through as much as they could and still didn’t get everything completed. They had to come back multiple times over the next two months to clean up, touch up, and complete work that was sloppily rushed through or incomplete. In the end, we ended up hiring a professional cleaner to come in and clean the entire house because of the mess they had made and we had to trash several pieces of furniture because they had been destroyed (see pictures). And during this whole process, Mike was very unpleasant to deal with and demanded payment in full, even though the job was not completed. Once the job is done, we noticed the final invoice had been altered from the signed contract with a pencil (Mike had gone back and written in several things after we had all signed). In the end, my spouse just wanted to be done with him so we ended up paying for additional items that were not done to our home (several thousands of dollars). I thought about writing a review at that time but really just wanted to be done and move on. However, we are now less than a year since the “completion“ of our project and have had multiple issues with their work. The floor that was installed in the basement has major damage and issues caused by the poor installation. We contacted a flooring company that sells the brand and had one of the brand installers come to our house who verified that the problem was with the installation, not the product. We have also had a door and a window leak extremely bad when it rains. I have sent pictures and videos to Mike at PDQ to let him know about the problems. I have called, texted, and walked in his office on multiple occasions over the last three months and still have not been able to get him to send a crew to fix the problems. In fact, other than one text message to acknowledge that he was receiving my texts, he won’t even respond or return a phone call. My next step is to contact a lawyer and get the legal system involved. Do NOT be fooled by the show put on by Mike prior to signing a contract. This owner does NOT care about you, your satisfaction, or the quality of his work. He just wants to get paid. Not all pictures and videos from our issues are attached, however, all attached have been provided to Mike on multiple occasions.

Could not have gone better. PDQ did much of the work required themselves, and subcontracted a few of the other trades needed. PDQ handled all that for us. They were professional and good to work with from start to completion.

Great!! The guys (Dan, Harry, and Jay) got here every morning when they said they would. They were respectful of the house, friendly, and good with the dogs. They asked questions about everything and confirmed all the work they were doing. There was even a final inspection with the owner to insure that we were happy with all of the work. And we were. These guys are amazing!!

They were timely, efficient, and they cleaned up after themselves.  They did the job that the contracted for and we didn’t have any problems with them.

First of all, PDQ Construction came promptly to give us a no-obligation, free bid for the work we wanted done. Their estimator Bobby was professional and pleasant, and he asked questions and made suggestions that made our project better. He worked up and delivered a comprehensive, written bid in a short time, and he answered all the questions we had. We signed a contract and made a down payment with the understanding that we would be given a one-week notice before PDQ was to begin, so that we could do some demolition. We did get notice, and they began earlier than originally anticipated. They sub-contracted a plumber to move our drain and shower valve, and he did excellent, prompt work. PDQ then installed backer board and drywall in the area where the new shower was to go. Then, they installed the Onyx shower base and walls, including a recessed shelf and a seat. They also installed the new shower head and faucet. They cleaned up after themselves every day and when the job was completed. When I had concerns about the appearance of the joints of the walls before they were completely finished, Bobby came out immediately and addressed my concerns. PDQ also cut and installed ceramic tile along the front perimeter of the shower base to match our existing tile floor. They did an excellent job, even matching the grout. The finished shower stall is beautiful, and we are very happy with it. PDQ is prompt, reliable, responsive, competitively priced, and they do excellent work. I would not hesitate to use them again, and I enthusiastically recommend them for remodeling work.

all went smooth. Rick and Daniel did all work inside removal of all the old and installation of all the new.

PDQ has the best group of subs/companies working with them. such as Custom Woods/Carpet one/ Fergusons/Old school Electric/Carlson Plumbing/Topmasters. All those that showed up to work were courteous and polite, Did there work and answered any of my dumb questions.

The estimate was on the penny. The workers showed up when they said they would. They were done in the time stated and the did an excellent job of cleaning up.
I did call them after the sealer was put on since it appeared that they missed a couple of spots. They came out within a couple of days and took care of the problem.
Would certainly use their services again. They may not be the cheapest price, but they do a great job and it was worth every dollar I spent.

all went well, from the initial meeting thru the estimate process and all the way to completion.

All were great to work with, from Bobby and Beth with design and estimate, Rick and Tim doing the remodel, and all their subs.

Even our Yorkie got along with Rick and Tim. The bath is awesome.

We our leaning towards them to do the remodel of kitchen.

They did a very nice job. The drywall work was very well done, as well as the new ceramic tiles. They were here everyday until the job was done. The communication was very good also, they always let us know what they would be working on the next day. They finsihed the job in one week (ahead of schedule) and right on budget. This was our first experience with a home remodel and we couldn't be happier with the job they did and would definitely use them in the future.

This was my first experience with remodeling, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I can now say that I definitely picked the right company. The crew at PDQ Construction were very professional as well as friendly and courteous. They kept me informed every step of the way, and didn't seem to mind answering my endless questions. My overall experience was terrific and I would certainly call on them for any future remodeling.
