"I am dismayed at this review. I admit I do not always arrive to the job as prompt as I tell people. As a sole proprietor I have phone calls and e-mails to respond to before leaving the office, and often pick-up materials on the way to the job. I did reularly arrive on this job between 9:00 AM & 10:30 AM. I had estimated three weeks of my time on the job and I am sure that I told them that. As is typical with Granite Countertops it takes 2 to 3 weeks to fabricate the tops, once they are templated, which I told them. During the delay, the homeowners did the painting and installed floors. As far as the vulgar language, I am not perfect, I may let a cuss word slip in occasion. But I do not go around spouting vulgarity. I go way above to put up dust partitions to protect the Homeowners from the dust, and keep the job area cleaned up. The job was done in a manner that the homeowner had use of the kitchen except for he day the Granite tops were installed I did this job in as timely a manner as possible. Here is the time frame. Monday July 28, 2014 Started work installing dust partitions and Demo. 7-28 thru 8-7.. Demo, Drywall Repair, Install pantry cabinet. Thursday August 7. the Granite.Fabricator templated for the tops. Friday August 8. Finished installing Peninsula cabinet. and cleaned up kitchen so the homeowners had use of it until the Granite tops arrived. (Hours first two weeks -75) Thursday September 4, 2014. Demo counter for installation, Tops installed by Granite Contractor. Friday September 5, 2014. Plumbed sink and re-installed Stove Saturday - Thursday & Sunday September 6 & 7, run vent for M/W Range Hood Monday-Friday September 8-11. Install tile Backsplash. and finish up. (Hours last week -46) My time 3 weeks (121 hours) Delay on Granite Fabrication 3 weeks = Total length of job- 6 weeks."
