MICHAEL'S HARDWOOD FLOORS

The installers created a pattern in the foyer with the #2 red oak and made a double 2 inch wide border of walnut surrounding the great room. In the formal dining room, they used 2 inch walnut squares to create a diamond pattern that is 3 ft. by 3 ft. and sets the room off from the rest of the house. They used a 3 inch wide rustic plank in the master suite. The stain in the master suite is the same, but the wood is a bit more porous and therefore took a bit more stain, making it a nice contrast to the rest of my 2170 sq ft first floor.

They are very busy, and it can be hard to get on there schedule. But once they commit to a date they keep it. The work started on time and finished on time. The did an excellent job of matching color of stain to existing woodwork. There work is meticulous. They do a good job of keeping things as clean as possible . (We lived in a hotel for two weeks while the work was being done.)

Michael was timely in his estimate and gave me a clean accurate bid with all aspects of the job listed correctly the first time. I had received several other bids and his pricing was reasonable for the amount of craftsmanship I expected for the job. Michael and his crew showed up on time and worked a full day. They cleaned up after themselves everyday, were respectful of all of my wood trim and walls (not a ding), and I felt comfortable at the end of the week to let them lock up.
Michael created a unique pattern for my dining room that fits my style of home and tastes. He is truly a craftsman, no pre made borders.
My floors are beautiful and look better than the builder grade one done11 years ago. I would definitely recommend Michael's Hardwood Floors to any of my friends.
