Environmental testing went very well. He was very thorough and explained the tests as he went along. He sent results promptly and was glad to explain any questions that we had. We would definitely refer him to any of our friends needing this service.

While you and I were enjoying our day off on September 4th (Labor Day), Craig Lester, of Lester Inspection, was conducting a very thorough inspection of the Stucco exterior on my new town home purchase. Craig responded immediately on August, 31st to a call from my buyer's agent, Doug Mitts, inquiring about Craig coming out on the 4th. We were up against an inspection deadline at midnight on the 5th. Craig delivered, and then some. He spent approximately 4 hours, scouring and testing the Stucco exterior section by section. He displayed tremendous professionalism, and explained in great detail the tests he was conducting, both verbally to my buyer's agent, and then written in a very detailed and complete report. Not only did he test the Stucco completely and thoroughly, he also provided feedback and guidance on an item of concern from the home inspection report regarding potential water entry in the basement. I would recommend Lester Inspection Services, at [*** Link removed ***] for all of your inspection needs. And he only tested the Stucco!!!

I didn’t go out and inquire him, my agent had him. You could give this guy a plus, he definitely would deserve it. He’s very good. He was amazing, he was really good. Price - I thought he was a little high, but he’s got great reviews with Angie’s List. I would tell other to use him. They’re a little bit expensive, but he was out there for 5 hours yesterday working on things. He went through every tank.

His intent was to complete both inspections professionally, and also to teach the homeowner about what repairs were needed and why, and how to maintain the exterior of the home in the future to avoid further problems. Craig arrived early and brought alone another inspector he was training. They were very thorough, starting outside and then inside going from top to bottom. He explained issues he saw along the way and answered questions not sugar-coating the facts. He also looked over a large barn (including the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing) on the property even though it probably should have been an extra charge to do so. The report was extensive and he sent detailed PDFs of repairs for issues he found and possible costs associated with them. We are very happy with Lester Inspections.

This inspection went extremely well, in my opinion, and was well worth the cost. He was very thorough, and took his time with every aspect of the inspection. He was very helpful in helping us understand issues of immediate concern vs. other concerns of lower priority. He allowed one of us to accompany him during inspection, and was quite willing to verbally explain everything as he proceeded. He traveled a significant distance to get to the house, and provided us with a written report very quickly, based on our need for a prompt report. I feel he went above and beyond professional efforts for our needs. I would use him again anytime. I was very satisfied overall, and would highly recommend his services to others.

Mr. Lester did get to our home quickly, explained all that was "wrong."  Told us how to fix these issues, gave us a detailed inspection report, and a basic home owner DIY fix it book.  We were really pleased with him.  However, the only negative part, which may or may not have been overlooked, were the glaring water stains in the basement.  This was our first home buying experience and we took his word.  He explained that where the stains were was the main water in line for the home, the caulking around it was very very ugly but wasn't wet at that time indicating there were no leaks.  It also hadn't rained here in quite sometime.  We were put at ease with this issue.  Fast forward to the first storm in our new home, guess what, leaked.  Has leaked every time since.  I guess he missed (so did we as we aren't pro's) the corner of the home (outside) where it was a bit negative drainage, also the basement leaked around the horrible caulk job.  Maybe he knew, maybe he didn't.  We were absolutely thrilled with his service until we discovered the leak, so forth.  We understand he's a busy man and is trained just sad this is happening to us.

I called Mr. Lester after reading many good reviews on Angie's List.  I couldn't have been happier.  We needed an appointment in a short time (less than one week), and Mr. Lester was able to get us in.  He was kind, courteous, and professional.  We walked around with him during a large part of the inspection and asked numerous questions.  He was patient, knowledgeable, and clear in his responses and went above and beyond to give us thorough answers to our questions.  We will give his name to friends who need these services without hesitation. I highly recommend his services.

In March 2013, Mr. Lester inspected a house for my family. Because of his excellent work, we invited him to inspect another house for us in January 2014. Each time Mr. Lester did a thorough inspection and prepared an excellent report. He was very patient at explaining everything to us during the inspection. As the first-time home buyers, we had a lot of questions and he always answered the questions thoroughly and in a way we could understand. His inspection report did not only include the inspection results but also additional resources on house maintenance. I feel his report is easy to follow and understand. It is really nice to see his written comments and pictures, which help me to recall and understand the problems and the recommended maintenance. We are lucky to have Mr. Lester to work with us on two inspections. I highly recommend him.

I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge.He was very thorough  he spent about five hours going through each room in our home and even more impressive was the way he took the time to show me everything about the home, and teach me how to operate and maintain all the systems in my home. He also educated me about what needed to be maintained and how to maintain it. I felt like I was in a home maintenance class all day and I feel very familiar and comfortable with my home and the maintenance process because  of the extra effort Mr Lester put forth...He even left us a home maintenance and repair book.  I would highly recommend Mr Lester to anyone who needs home inspection services.
