Picked up the microwave oven yesterday, December 19. The oven runs when turned on, but does not heat anything. After 4 minutes on "high", a cup of coffee was still as luke warm as it was when I put it into the oven. Called Factory Direct Appliance to report the problem and was told to bring it back in.
Asked them if I would be charged the "Trip" Charge of $30 again. Note that I was charged a Trip Charge even though I carried the microwave oven into the store myself. While reviewing the bill, I see that I was overcharged $2.00 on this bill.
So now I have to carry this microwave oven back up a flight of stairs, load it in my car and drive it to the store for a second time. My question to them is ~ Why didn't you check the microwave oven after you replaced the thermostat to see if it actually heated anything?
