Tech came out and gave estimate for furnace replacement and also an estimate for both furnace and AC. Most of the reputable contractors I called were so far backed for replacement as far as timetable for the install. Since I had no heat and the weather here has been so cold in late Oct through early Nov they said they would schedule me as a priority. I compared the estimate with someone who was also having a furnace replaced by a considered contractor. They were gracious to share the cost and were on a waiting list until after the Thanksgiving holiday. The estimate from Debacker's was reasonable and I decided to have both units replaced. The techs that came out were courteous and professional and I couldn't be more satisfied. They came on a Friday to install the furnace to get heat up and running and came back on Monday to finish up. I would like to thank Greg and his staff for the service they provided for me. It was not an easy task because it was a crawl space install. I would definitely recommend and call them again for future service.

CA wasn't cooling. The technician checked the system, added coolant, cleaned and checked other unit components. Prompt, efficient, and friendly service. Would call again.

We've used them repeatedly. They seem pretty reasonable. They're pretty good. They're reasonable and they are friendly and they do a good job and you kind of feel like you can trust them in your home and that sort of thing. I don't recall any problems with that, I think they were fine.

They couldn't do the work, because my system was too old. My home warranty company wouldn't cover anything, and I never got the estimate for system replacement.

I was standing near my water heater when I began to hear a hissing sound.  Then came the rushing of water down the middle of it and into the drain. The heater was original to my home (20 years) .  I priced several home improvement places and thought I would replace it myself.  Then I remembered DeBackers.  They had installed this water heater when the home was new-as well as my furnace and a/c.  I called that day and they were able to come out the following with a new 40 gallon tank.  I had requested a furnace maintenance also, since winter was coming on.  I figured the same crew could do both.  Well, it was 4 guys (2 crews) who showed up at the same time.  That was good for me.  All the work was done in about an hour as I recall.  Was relieved to have the water back on and to know that my furnace was in good shape for another year (20+ years now).  Because I had drained my water tank prior to their arrival $50 was knocked off the bill (saved them the time to do it). Really, I wouldn't have saved much installing it myself, according to the prices quoted by other places.  And, I would have had to wait a few days for service.  I felt their price was real good considering all the work I would have had to go through.

Provided estimate, showed up on time. install took part of two days, no problems and company kept work area clean, left house in great shape.

When they came to provide an estimate for adding a heat duct in my basement, they reviewed the situation and explained to me in the politest terms that what I was asking for would probably not help my situation. They offered an alternative, still adding the extra duct but also adding an air return in the basement where there previously was none. The result is a more comfortable living space with the added bonus of lower utility costs. They took the time to find out what my needs were instead of just doing the work I was asking for which resulted in a far better home improvement than I was expecting.
The work was completed in the estimated time frame. The technicians were professional and courteous. A pleasant experience.

Repairman arrived right on time. He was speedy, courteous, and thorough. In researching the repair work online after the service was complete, it seems that the cost for the service was right in line with what I could have expected to pay. It was a good experience, and I'd use DeBacker's again without hesitation.

I was actually at the rental house only once during the several service calls that DeBackers made to the house, but my experience with the techs was pleasant, and their service was timely and professional.

Installation crew was very courteous and professional, coming up with innovative way to boost efficiency of air handling. Quality of effort to avoid dirt and grime with removal of wood burning furnace and clean up after installation was outstanding. Excellent demonstration of patience to train me to operate totally automatic system. All results exceeded expectations.

The techs arrived on time, explained the proces they would go through to fix the leak, and did so in approximately 40 minutes, and showed me where the split in the copper pipe was. There repair has remained and there are water no longer leaks from my ceiling fan. The service was great and the techs were knowledgeable and prompt. I thought the pricing was fair.

I had contacted another Heating and A/C company, but they took over a month to get back to me. I called Debackers and they sent the owner out to do the estimate. We agreed on a time and the guys showed up and got right to work. The project took 2 days, and when they were finished, I had a brand new furnace that works great! It also is more energy efficient so I hope the heating bill isn't quite as bad this year. After they left, a company representative called to make sure the men were courteous and I was pleased with the work.
