DAY'S SEPTIC SYSTEM CLEANING

I called Day's Septic because we were having a problem with toilets overflowing and gurgling. Although their schedule was full, they made time to send someone by to look at our septic. It had collapsed. They pumped the system and gave us information on how to proceed. The owner took time to contact reputable companies that could help with the installation of a new one. The workers were very knowledgeable, personable and the work was done with excellence. We felt the prices were extremely reasonable for the work they did. I would highly recommend this company.

It was pretty hard to get a hold of him.  I left a couple of telephone message for him and he never called back.  Several people, including another septic tank company, had recommended him so I had my wife call to give it one last try.  He answered the phone for her and set up a time to be at our house.  He arrived 90 minutes prior to our scheduled appointment, which turned out fine.  I had no idea where the septic tank was in our yard and he located it within 2 minutes.  He dug down and pumped out the tank.  He had to go pour a riser for the tank after taking measurements and he returned 2 days later to install the riser.  He was within his estimate that he gave over the telephone and he said that he didn't charge us to dig down to the tank since he found it quickly.  Overall, I'm very pleased with the work since we weren't in a huge hurry to have it done.  Had we been having problems with the system, I would have been displeased with his response time, but luckily that wasn't an issue.

We were happy with him. He is pleasant, professional, on time and had good rates.

Gary Day (owner) showed up at 8:00 a.m. as scheduled, set up his truck and equipment and serviced the system. Before leaving, he informed me the tank was not full and suggested an interval of 5 to 7 years for the next scheduled service based on the usage at my house. All went well and I will call him the next time. This is the second time I have used this company and have been please both times. I also have other friends that use this company also.
