We've had them over to our house twice. They did good. The only thing that was kind of a pain is that they didn't show up when they said they would, but once they got there, everything was fine.

I called Brown's Tree service. They were very quick in giving me an estimate and getting over here to do the work. My brother asked if he could have the wood so I called them and asked if they would leave the wood, but would appreciate it if they could leave it in manageable pieces and was told they could. That afternoon after I got home from work they were done and already gone, but there was not what could be termed "manageable" pieces. What they cut was left exactly where it fell.

Crew of five arrived on schedule with two trucks (one with boom other one for limb pickup and haul away). Most of the trees were in the back yard where the boom truck could not be used. Two men climbed the trees with the help of ropes. Men were very well trained and were able to cut and lower limbs that were over the house with ropes without letting them drop on the roof. The other crew members gathered the limbs that were cut and carried/dragged them to the front of the house where they could be picked up with the truck.

They worked for five hours continuously until the job and cleanup was complete. Workers were all competent and worked well together.

Overall, the work was good. The only issue I have is the lack of cleanup. I have been cleaning up trimmed branches, sticks, etc. for a week. There was no way I could have mowed my lawn before spending a tremendous amount of time cleaning up.

We had just had a snowstorm and called five different companies after the tree split, but only two of them came out to do an estimate, Brown's being one of them. They had the lowest bid, and were able to start the job within a couple of days. They arrived around 9 AM, laid wood on the ground so as not to tear up the yard from the weight of the trucks. The crew got to work on the tree immediately and took about 3.5 to 4 hours to take the tree to the ground, then two members went to work on the other tree while the remaining crew members cleaned up the stump and the yard. The entire job was done in about 6.5 hours. The weather conditions were cold and slippery, making the job more hazardous than it might normally be.

Very well. They were prompt, quick and thorough. They had enough equipment to complete the job correctly. They cleaned up well and left no trace that they were even there, except a very well trimmed tree. Price was very reasonable. I'd use them again.

They trimmed what needed to be trimmed. They told what needed to be trimmed. They were recommended by some real estate people. The more people I talked to, the more recommendations I got for them. They did great work for me. They came out on time and they cleaned up well. Everything was great. They charged me $230 for trimming 2-3 trees. They also removed a 15-foot tree and ground the stump. It had died from too much rain. It took them two people in two hours. I had a very good experience with them and I will be using them again shortly. I was really impressed with the foreman who managed the crew. They worked very quickly and there were no problems. I had also observed them earlier taking out some dead trees around my church.
