We thought we were going to have to replace our duramax diesel engine in our big truck to the tune of $3,700-4,700 but they found the problem and fixed it. Yeah Automotion!!!

He's really good, he knows when something's wrong. He tells me what he's doing and he knows what it is and he fixes it. Their price was reasonable. They very good, they'll take you where you need to go if you don't have a ride and he's very good, he takes care of me and gets me back on the road.

Despite being out an extra $600, I am satisfied with the work performed by D.J. Manis and Jim. Platinum spark plugs are recommended in my Neon's 2.0L DOHC engine, and Jim installed copper plugs. I asked him to replace with platinum plugs and was only charged the difference in price for copper vs. platinum. It seems that the last shop replacing my plugs at 60K had installed copper plugs despite charging me for platinum plugs, and since that was what I had already installed Jim went with similar to what was already in car.

Shop personnel are very professional, and were happy to explain the costs of repairs with me. I still need to compare prices for parts vs. NAPA's retail prices to determine if I may have overpaid there, but I am happy to have my cars running again. It is unlikely that I will have my wife's '09 PT Cruiser's imminent tune-up at Automotion, but I will not hesitate to take my '46 Plymouth back despite the foot dragging by Topeka Transmission. I don't blame D. J. for that.

I know a fair amount about cars, but don't work on them anymore. I had an idea I had suspension problems. After analysis (no charge), he did research on parts list (from Audi dealer) and labor and put it all in an estimate. He's an independent and therefore did not have access to parts. I asked if I could get the parts for him and he could do the labor. He was fine with that; it saved him from having to get the parts, I guess. I filled his parts list online thru eBay and websites. I saved more than $3000 buying the parts online and they were better parts than OEM. That savings more than covered the labor costs. He did the job in a day. I've had no trouble since. He has no problem answering questions on the phone about this job or other questions I might have. I've since been back to buy a battery. I didn't even shop around. I just dropped by, he checked the battery and charging system, told me I in fact needed a new battery, come back tomorrow. I did, he put it in while I waited in the car (helpful cuz I'm in a wheelchair), and I was back on the road. It's nice not having to worry about where to go and if you're getting a straight deal. I just go see him and he takes care of it. End of story.
