Ross made the first contact, examined the problem area, and explained what was causing the leak and what was needed to fix it. Had other roofers "fix" the problem area in the past but none made a repair that lasted through but a couple of rain storms. Repair was made by Applehanz crew and since we've had at least 3 good heavy rains without any indication of a leak.Will call on them again if roof work is needed.

Received several estimates for roof replacement and decided on Appelhanz Roofing although their estimate for roof repair was a bit higher than the others, their assessment of all of the damage was the most complete.

Ross was extremely efficient and professional in helping us through the entire process from working through the insurance claim, to arranging all of the various repairs, including roof, gutter, and window replacements, and returning several times to take care of a leak that developed.    He took care to see that everything was completed to our satisfaction.

We were very impressed with the care, service, and professionalism of Ross and Appelhanz Roofing and their subcontractors and highly recommend them.

They did an outstanding job. I've never seen anybody work as hard as these guys. They did an awesome job. The sales guy that came out was fantastic and we've got lots of samples and questions. They're very knowledgeable on the product. They knew places to go look, addresses to look at different roofs. He told us the pros and cons. It wasn't about selling us the most expensive thing. It was about telling us the benefits of various grades of roofing. He gave us a better idea of what the roof looked like instead of three foot square. It's a pretty big house and they were done in two or three days. They cleaned up and picked up. I was freaking out of the nails but they were very careful about picking up every little piece of trash and all of the nails. They were very conscientious about making sure that no litter or nothing got blown into my house, into the neighbor's yard or anything. I would never use anybody but them personally.

The roof came first. The crew worked like a well oiled
machine. They took off the old roof and
put on the new one. They did a thorough
job cleaning up. The gutters were next.
The crew was equally efficient with installation and clean up. Finally, the gutter cover installer did an

They were very prompt, cleaned up all the mess. Took care of roof in one day. Very impressed.

It went well and we were happy with the service. If we were staying in the area, we would have used them again for our house.

The leaking onto the porch has stopped.

I got a bid when I saw their representative on a neighbor's roof - Brian was pleasant and made sure I understood all the details involved. The crew came when promised and work done exactly as promised. A large crew completed my roofing project in two days. Most all of the fellows were pleasant and worked very hard. When completed the area was clean as promised.
While this company was about 20 -25% higher than other companies that use subcontractor to do actual work, I think I got a good value with quality work performed by a company that bids and does work themselves, equips their workers so that safety and efficiency are optimal. Since I had my roof done after the hail storm of the spring of 2010, I heard many stories about the nightmares that others endured in the replacement of their roof and felt even better about spending a bit more money.
I know that the bathroom ceiling and bat removal were something out of the ordinary, there was never a pause in response and were taken care of quickly. I would recommend Applehanz without any reservation or caveat, and have done so.

They did a great job. Cleaned the entire area upon completion and were very careful about shrubs, plantings and our home. They came on the date and time that was arranged and finished on the time that was stated. We would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Phone call to company, they sent an estimator out, he reviewed the insurance estimate, said that he's call me when he could do the job.
About three weeks later when I was out of town he called and they replaced the roof in one day.
I'm not a roofer so I can't really judge the quality but it looks good.

They came a month earlier than what they had me scheduled me for. It went well. We did have to call them back a few times. They did come back to fix everything promptly. I had called the office to let them know I had found roofing nails. The office was very concerned about this and they came right out. They stood behind the quality of their work. Everytime I had a concern they took care of it quickly.
