The first time they did a great job! Billy, the owner, was easy to work with and I was pleased with the job. He had been recommended by a friend in the construction business. About a year later, when my roof needed replacement again because of the hail storm I called Billy, since I had been so satisfied the first time. His price was very reasonable, as before, even lower than the insurance company's allowance, and they came to fix it in a timely manner, but this time I had all kinds of problems. There were a few streaks of tar on my siding. Fortunately my siding hadn't yet been replaced, yet. I found several shingles in the yard after a windy day. I called, and he sent someone back to take care of it. Then my neighbor told me that shingles on the edge of the highest roof were flapping in the wind, from the lower edge to the peak of the roof. That also was fixed, but later I noticed some other shingles were not pasted down enough, so he had to come a third time. The roof was put on in the winter, but now that it's hot, there is still one shingle that is not completely flat to the roof. I haven't bothered to call him, yet, because the last three times I had to leave a message, and the roof would be fixed, but he didn't call me back, so I really didn't feel he communicated with me well. I'm sure he was extremely busy when the roof was replaced because of the hail damage. There were numerous roofers in my neighborhood for weeks after the storm. But I felt I needed a little more personal attention when there were problems. It was my neighbors who told me when they'd been out to fix the problems.
