Everything went great. Clayton personally answered any questions we had. We discussed our options. He customized some venting/ductwork. It has cooled and heated our home the past 30 days. My electric bill seemed to lower also. 95% efficiency Furnace + 16 SEER AC.

Great. The new system works well and our house is finally cool in the summer time. The old system ran all the time, but the new one cools the house then shuts off.

When my furnace came on it sounded like a small explosion and it was just loud in general.  I called Stilwell HVAC and they came out within a day.  It needed a part but it was possible to get that the next day and they came back out to install.  It is so quiet now.  Plus, it was noticed I did not have a humidifier.  I was given a very reasonable quick quote and I took it.   I really needed it and was so glad they mentioned it. The appointment was made but the morning they were to come, something awry with their schedule.  They called me and asked if I minded rescheduling.  They asked me!!!  Wow.  Overall, an excellent experience and fair value for the work done.  They cleaned up any mess too.

A/C wasn't blowing or cooling. They were able to come out later that day to diagnose the problem.  A switch needed to be replaced so they ordered the part and were able to fix the unit temporarily so it would work until the new part came in. We have used this company to install heating and cooling units in two houses we have built and also they have serviced our homes for over 20 years now. A wonderful family owned company who takes pride in taking care of their customers.

My husband I noticed our central air conditioning was not cycling off and on as it should--it would run continuously making our house colder and colder until we had to physically turn the thermostat up so the air would turn off. I called Stilwell Heating and Cooling and the owner, Clayton Richardson, came out the day after I called. He cleaned the exterior air conditioning unit and checked the components in the basement saying he thought everything just needed a good cleaning. He would not charge us, but asked that we watch the air temperatures for a day or so and if the cleaning did not fix the problem, he would replace the thermostat. The cleaning did not fix the problem, so Clayton returned two days later and installed a programable thermostat which has taken care of the problem. His price, listed above, included the thermostat and his service charge for both visits. Clayton is efficient and professional and we would certainly hire him again for further HVAC work.
