At Best Chimney Services we strive to make each customer feel just like family. We cover many aspects of chimney repairs and would love to add you to our list of thousands of satisfied customers. We use the industry standard vacuum technology for dust control, as well as high tech chimney scan cameras to view your chimneys flue systems for any unforeseen issues. These issues include cracked tiles, missing mortar, and/or incorrect building techniques to name a few that you wouldn't know exist until a problem arises. Ryan and his team provided excellent service, completed a thorough inspection of our chimneys and fireplaces and provided a complete report in a very timely manner. He recommended quality fireplace products and a fair quote for chimney repairs. No hidden costs. Our choices were 2 fireplace inserts, upstairs we preferred a wood burning unit and downstairs a gas burning unit. He and his team delivered and installed in a timely manner, taking upmost care with cleanup afterwards. He continued to follow up in the weeks after to ensure we were satisfied. Best Chimney lived up to their name. After having had two other chimney companies tell us our gas fireplace was beyond repair and charged us for nothing - Ryan and Best Chimney quickly and efficiently repaired it. Previous Chimney companies had tried to sell us expensive NEW replacement fireplaces. In short order, Ryan saved us a bundle.

Gage discovered two significant natural gas leaks on elbow and gas shut-off valve on main gas line. We were also advised of an upgrade to system by installing a wireless gas log heater that would be able to ignite w/o matches or butane lighter.

Ryan was fantastic to work with and has a quirky sense of humor, which you need when your chimney is leaking. He is very knowledgeable and has a great team. His bid was 25% less and the work ended up 30% less than another highly rated chimney business, as he figured out how to save us some money vs. pocket it. We had an issue with water coming in during a storm while waiting for the custom chase, and he and his crew dropped everything to drive across town to fix the situation. He suggested some cosmetic improvements that really kicked the final looks up a notch.. The crew was also careful around our landscaping and fastidious with their clean up. We definitely recommend Ryan and will call him for future inspections.

Extra cleaning was needed and the options were explained along with price differences. He understood I do some of my own work and gave me cheaper options to allow that. Showed up when they said they would and got some hard to find parts to complete my job on the damper.

I called Best Chimney Services to see if they could replace a fan motor on my insert. Ryan was very knowledgeable and knew what work I needed done. He ordered the part and within a week came out to the house and installed the new motor. He saved me over a hundred dollars from his competition that I had called earlier and did it two weeks faster than the competition. Would highly recommend them. K

Ryan got up on the roof for inspection of chimney and chimney cap. His assistant cleaned from inside the house. He also cleaned gas logs and glass doors. Ryan showed me photos of his findings and explained the issues he found during inspection. He will be sending a report and estimate on repairs needed.

Two years after installing, he contacted me to state he had installed wrong kind of fireplace and needed to be replaced. However, he expected us to pay for new I install. When refund was finally negotiated, he gave an uncashable check. This is a follow up to previous post. Refund was finally issued correctly, however check would not clear when first taken to bank. Also job has not been completed - I was told it would only be corrected if I took down my reviews.

"Roughly 2 years back on install day we took Mrs Henrys husband into the rear of the wall area where the existing original 1970s manufactured fireplace unit had originally been installed. We explained that a large wood beam that was holding up approximately 25 ft tall x 8 ft wide of stone was located in a bad spot(clearance to combustibles). Husband told us to “leave it, it’s fine”. Fast forward 2 years later after even further research and concern on my part, I called them up without being asked and offered to install a wood insert that would eliminate the hazard as well as give them $1300 back of the money they had spent 2 years back. Customer has received a brand new more compatible unit at wholesale cost, a $1300 refund (which she has cashed) and her only remaining complaint was that the trim piece that surrounds the new unit is not flush with her stone, and had a gap on one side. I have offered to send workers out to move the unit in any direction she sees fit if she simply agrees to take the MULTIPLE reviews she left down.. UPDATE She now wants a full refund and to keep the installed stove. Some people you just can’t please."
