Work was performed to the letter of my instructions and they were able to get the job done earlier than the estimater quoted me. There was one mishap, but it was due to my inattentiveness. One of the trees removed was a large thick cedar tree. I failed to notice that two saplings were growing next to the trunk of the ccedar. Capital City Tree removed the cedar tree and left the saplings. An honest mistake, since I did not request those trees be taken out, but after I called them and explained my oversight they were happy to come and remove the saplings at no additional charge. Very professional, very prompt, will definitely use them in the future.

The men arrived at 3:00pm and worked until the job was done, about 6:30pm. They removed all of the huge limbs from our old tree without damaging our picket fence or the small maple that has been trying to grow for years. They took great care to remove the limbs without damaging any of our property. They didn't trample on any of our new plants just purchased this spring. When all the limbs were removed, they raked the small branches and detritus from our yard. I am so impressed by the work ethic and professionalism of the employees of this company. They all stayed until the job was finished. Our yard is immaculate.

We use this company approximately once a year to keep the many trees in our back yard off the electric lines and cleared out from possible damage to our home or the homes and yards of our neighbors. We made a mistake about a year ago by hiring a young man who stopped by our home. He cut the limbs that we had agree on, but he also damaged personal property in our yard and didn't bother to clean up any of the branches. The difference between Capital City Tree Care and this other tree service was so obvious to us. We won't make that mistake again. We will always use Capital City Tree Care for the work we need around our home.

The crew arrived punctually and ready to work. It was a big job, and amazing to see how much they were able to do in one day. All of the trimmers were very careful around our fence and windows.

My experience went fairly well.  I thought they were a bit pricey.  They did almost everything that I had asked them to.  I had this old tree in my backyard that was dead and had been shutting winds for three years and there was a pile of them by the back fence so I asked them to take that along with the other pile that was under the tree and they missed one pile by the fence so I still have to try to get rid of these.  Frankly I never met them in person.  Quality of the overall work was good.  I had them leave the stump because I'm going to use it as a bird bath.  They did it the day I asked them to.  A handyman in my neighborhood who comes around all the time begging us to have him do yard work, on two occasions I actually asked him to come and he didn't show up either times so the fact that they came and did what they were supposed to do was awesome.  The next time I would probably shop around for a little bit better price.

They arrived when they said; they explained what they were going to do and we made sure they were going to do what we wanted and we all agreed.  The crew of three men, one in a cherry picker did all the actual cutting and the other two cleaned up and loaded the debris as he went.  They worked steadily except for a short lunch break and were professional about their work.  It took them from about 9AM until about 4PM.  When they were all done, the main guy had me inspect their work and approve, which I did with no problems found.  He thanked me for the job and I thanked him for doing a good job, as well as the other two men and we shook hands and they left.  All I did was sign a sheet saying they had completed the work as requested.  We received the bill in the mail on Monday 11/5 and it was what they had estimated.  We got a 10% discount for being over 65.  All went well and we are pleased with their work.

Very professional.  Team effort well organized.  Would be first choice for additional work.

I thought they did excellent work! Showed up when they said they would and did what they said they would do. I plan to use them again for an overall trimming of all the trees in my yard.

Capital City was one of three tree surgeons called.  One never called back.  Another called a week after Capital City had removed the offending tree.  Capital City was first on the response and was considerate of our time.  Because of a recent storm, we did not expect t Capital City to immediately arrive that day--but they did anyway!  We did not expect the work to be done that week--but within two days the work was satisfactorily accomplished.

They did a super job on the trimming and clean up.  Very responsive to our requests.

Everything was wonderful! Craig (the owner) came out promptly and gave me a written estimate of what it would cost to have our half-dead maple tree removed from our back yard. Also on the bid page was typed "All Trimming Will Be Done According To ANSI-A300 STANDARD." He also stapled a copy of his "Certificate of Liability Insurance" to the bid before he gave it to me. I was much impressed with his professionalism and courtesy; also his bid was $200 less that the lowest of the other four bids I took. He also had a list of his qualifications on the bid proposal sheet and offered references. His crew arrived promptly at 9:00 a.m. on 1 Apr 09. The foreman summarized the timeline for me; everything went very well. They even took a leaf blower to the top of our garage to clean the leaves and twigs off it it. They removed the wood and brush, and raked the area relatively free of sawdust. ALL branches and debris were removed promptly upon completion of the cutting. They cut the stump flush with the ground per my instructions. Two of my neighbors came to see what and how they were doing; one ended up employing them that day. They asked me if they could stay parked in my drive to access her tree, I told them that was fine. Even considering that they removed her tree, they were still cleaned up, finished and gone by 5:00 p.m.
