Sean and his team were absolutely the best. Great communication throughout the house painting process. If I had questions for the team doing the painting they were very kind and informative. Would highly recommend Sharper Impressions for your painting needs. Great pricing too!

We had a Sharper Impressions paint our entire first floor and we're very pleased with the outcome. They used quality paint and were honest and flexible when we needed to adjust a few things because of dark ceilings that needed extra coats. They will probably hear from us again to paint the basement later! They were also the lowest bid we got.

We had a great experience with Sharper Impressions. The crew was on time, efficient, and polite. Sean was great to work with and was very responsive anytime we had a question. They stuck to the estimate so there was no surprise billing. Overall, this was a great company to work with and I highly recommend them.

Zach and Brock's team did an amazing job! Our interior looks so much better with a fresh coat of paint. Everything from start to finish was perfect. Communication, emails, the painting crew, etc. were just awesome!

We were very pleased with the work Sharper Impressions did. Zach and his team were friendly, courteous and easy to work with. Our home was in desperate need of exterior paint, and we wanted to get a few rooms inside done as well. They were able to schedule everything together and do a majority of the interior work on the weekend so that I didn't need to take much time off work. They were upfront about the process and helpful along the way. The painters themselves were quick, clean and very sweet. I would hire them again!

I hired this company a couple of years ago to paint the exterior of my home that had just been stuccoed. The exterior is brick and stucco so pretty basic stuff. The crew sent out the night before the painting began was suppose to prep the exterior, cleaning surfaces mainly so that paint would actually stick to your house. They did a lousy job and rushed through so quickly it was a concern that I mentioned to the salesman. The work proceeded and there were a number of expectations that had been agreed to with the salesman and not kept with the crew. Now a couple years after the job, paint falls off my house and I routinely have to do my own maintenance. The paint used on this job was a quality paint from Sherwin Williams Duration which the company said they would warrant because it is good paint. I've personally used this paint on other projects many, many years ago and those exterior jobs still look great and have never required constant upkeep. Long story short, find someone else to do your paint job. It is to much to ask of this company providing them with quality materials and expecting a quality job at a premium price in return. I could go on but I've wasted enough of my own time with this bad decision.

I nearly missed out on connecting with Sharper Impressions,
and that would have been unfortunate.  I had two bids when my husband
reminded me that three bids are always a good idea.  I found the
advertising card that had recently come in the mail and called Sharper
Impressions.  Zach Atwell, owner of the company, came to the house, did a
thorough inspection, and came in with a bid 1500 to 2000 dollars less than the
first two bids! The bid was accurate and was exactly what we paid at the end of
the job.

Zach is personable and really cares about the success of his
company.  Everyone who works for him is polite and accomodating, and they
work very hard.  When the crew arrived, I went over the contract with
them, and they set to work immediately.  At the end of job, Jake, quality
control inspector, found a couple of spots. They were fixed quickly.  A
month later I found a few more areas, and they were quickly dealt with.  This
company has a five-year warranty for the paint job.  My experience so far
is that they will cheerfully honor it.  We are very pleased that we chose
Zach and his company.

They were painters. My husband took care of that. I am pretty sure they said they were on Angie's List. They were terrible. The contractor that we spoke with didn't tell us that he subcontracted out this painting. Gregory and Zack were the owners. What they do is take the bids and then subcontract it out and take a portion of what the painters do. You never know what you are going to get. We talked to people up the street and they got a great paint job. What we did no realize was that they had gotten a different contractor. We had them back, probably, four times  and there are still places that are not painted. They told us they had put two coats of paint on, which they did not. We paid them for 20 gallons of paint and they only applied 10. My husband even went to the place where the paint was purchased and asked them how many gallons of paint they purchased so that is how we knew that they charged us for 20 and only painted with 10. We had them back out and told them we were not going to pay them until they gave us a second coat of paint. They sprayed the coat and then came out and touched up with brushes. My husband told them that is not how you do it, but they never did put down a second coat all around the house. They were just not good. They are dishonest because they should let their customers know that they are not going to do the painting and that they subcontract out all of their work. I we had known that we would not have done that. How do you know who you are going to get or what they are going to do? It was a mess. They got paint on our plants. They did not remove the gutters and paint behind them. We told them they had to do that so when we got new ones they dented and gouged one of the downspouts. They just did not do a good job. The price was reasonable from other bids we have gotten. They were all fairly competitive. We never knew when they were going to show up. They would just go away and then you would not see them for two or three days and then they would come back. You did not know when they would come and go.

Zach was very friendly, courteous, and professional when he came to my house to review the project and give me an estimate.  The crew was just as much so, while performing the work.  They repaired/replaced the wood rot, including additional areas that I wanted to have addressed.  After the necessary prep work was completed, they had my home painted in a couple of days, and it looks great (props to Liz, the color consultant!)!!  Sharper Impressions is a quality-oriented operation, and affordable as well . . . I will recommend them to anyone that I know.

Sharper Impressions Painting painted my home last month and I am thrilled with how it turned out! Between the manager and the paint crew, everyone I worked with was very professional, efficient and courteous. I really appreciated the attention to detail paid by the painters, as well as their willingness to please. They were very conscientious and tidy.  I will definitely be using Sharper Impressions Painting for future projects, keep up the great work!

They didn't do the repair work properly. Even before I told them to do the repair work they started painting. They left a mess in the yard with nails and stuff everywhere. They were not professional and did not have the expertise to do the job right. The owner fired his crew and left me hanging. They left the house half painted, left the yard a mess, they used the wrong paint, he broke my tree, he left tape everywhere, and I can go on and on.

Terrible.  A week after the paint was applied, it began to peel.  I tried to have them fix the problem but the sub-contractor pointed fingers at Sharper Impressions and they pointed fingers and the paint company.  Finally, I just started touching up peeling paint every weekend.  Following a storm, that damaged the OTHER side of my house, I invited Sharper Impressions to come out and see the peeling paint to correct the whole problem.  I figured they still had skin in the game since it had a 5-year warranty.  They blew me off and said it was hail damage.

The WORST customer care and follow up.

They don't do the work themselves!  They troll around and find sub-contractors who are desperate for work and pay them 50% of what the bid price was.

Their color consultant was absolutely useless.

On a scale of 1-10 these guys are -3!

The owner was fantastic and came prepared with customer letters and accolades.  I was very impressed.  I was even offered a color specialist to help me choose interior and exterior colors.  It soon became clear that they provide excellent marketing and if you're lucky, good work.  However, I saw a marked difference between my interior painter and my exterior painter.  I suspected that my interior painter had some "issues", as he had to have a cigarette every twenty minutes, or so.  There were drops of paint on furniture, floors and woodwork.  I did call the company to complain about the spots on the leather sofa and when the partner showed up to collect payment, he scraped the paint off the sofa.  Also, he had to take a jacket to the cleaners and return it, as the painter painted it while painting the entry closet.   I was pleased with the exterior painter, but noticed that he was not treated well by the partner.  I don't believe he was paid in a timely fashion and believe that the exterior painter refused to work as a contract employee from my job.   I believe that Sharper Impressions is more of a marketing company that only hires out the help.  I will never use them in the future, nor will I recommend them in the future.

I started a blog on them. I don't think that they have any regular crews. He never came back to check on anything after it was done. The crew was careless, in my opinion. They spilled paint all over my carpets. I was so unhappy that I didn't call them back to correct the problems, because I didn't want them back in my house. Before the crew leaves, they have a satisfaction form that they want you to sign. They won't leave until you've signed it. The room was a difficult job, to be fair. In their advertisement, they have a picture of people painting a two-story high area, which is one reason that I called them. I assumed that that was their specialty. I would never recommend them to anybody. Somebody else might get a different crew, and things might be fine.

They did not show up, they left paint on the front of the brick home, the storm windows where reinstall incorrectly and it took 6 or more phone calls to get it fixed, they did not chalk wood repair, the shutters where falling off after they reinstalled them again having to make way to many calls to redo. They have NO pride in there work nor do they have respect for the people they are doing business for. The salesman made you think it was a great company but the workmen and ladies are terrible.

The estimate and warranties were the best of four bids. This was the only company that warrantied its workmanship for more than one year, and the only company that included two coats of life-time guaranteed paint at this price level. This was the first time I had hired someone to paint the house, and felt lost when dealing with the chain-of-command. The owner/operator did the estimate, then handed the job off to a project manager, who hired a general contractor to do the actual painting. It took a while for me to understand what the relationships were, and who to talk to about concerns. There was also some miscommunication among the parties, but everyone seemed to work toward the same goal of getting the job done right. The final job has been good, but there were two problems along the way, both of which were addressed by the company: 1. The initial estimate had to be modfed to cover termite and moisture damage uncovered after removal of bushes at the side of the house. The second estimate was off the mark, and when asked for help, the company reduced the final fee by about $200. 2. The deck paint bubbled almost immedately, and the company repaired the bubbles about a month later.

They did a perfect job. They were very good. We had some problems afterwards, but that was mainly due to the age of the deck. They replaced wood that had rotted through.
