Ratliff installed a new roof and gutters on a house we had just purchased. Mike (owner) was very easy to work with, making multiple trips out to discuss the job, provide samples, etc. He provided a straightforward estimate, and stuck to the numbers even when we asked for minor changes after the fact (no extra billing)! Work crews were diligent, timely, professional, and polite. Mike stopped by every day to ensure everything was going well and that we were happy. Mike was happy to answer questions or concerns we had during the job and had no problem having his crews address small details that I asked about. His foreman Gaston also stopped by most days and Mario the lead installer was the first one there, last one out every day. Job was done as promised, when promised. Overall this was one of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. We've had one good hard rain on the new roof and so far no issues have come up. Will post updated review if follow up with Mike is needed down the road (5-year warranty on Ratliff's work).

Ratliff installed a new roof 2+ yrs ago. Twice since, we have had issues with the roof leaking along the brick siding on the front of our house. Because a 5 year workmanship warranty is the standard, Ratliff had been out a few times in the past 6 weeks to supposedly fix the leak, again. I missed 3 days of work from them not showing as promised. Finally, the owner, Mike, said they had done all they could and it was a builder error not installing a snow pan. The estimate for the work needed was to be $800. On 5/21/19, we got 2 inches of rain in our basement from the same corner of the roof. My new roofer found that Ratliff cut the old shingles off along the brick siding and butted the new shingles up to the old. This created a gap which leaked down the foundation, into our basement and in our closet ceiling. All of the nails in the shingles along our brick siding were found to be rusted from the water getting under there. It was fixed today. He installed step flashing along the brick siding and caulked it to match the shingle color. He installed a snow pan and extra water proofing around the valley and siding in that corner. He said there is no way it will leak in that corner again. He, also, said all of this should have been done when the new roof was installed. He mentioned 'poor workmanship'. He charged me $600. The question now is do we take the sheet rock off the closet wall to look for black mold? Then, what? Right now, we are just relieved and have confidence it is fixed right. The photos are of our finished basement post flood and how Ratliff left the roof and how it looks today with the new flashing!

"Please enter what you would like the response to look like:The version of events presented in this review do not reflect the conduct of Ratliff contractors or their work ethic. In response, we would like to provide several absent details that contribute greatly to this set of circumstances. Ratliff Enterprises did re-roof the [Member Name Removed] residence three years ago in July 2016. (It should be noted that the agreed upon processes to install a new roof on the [Member Name Removed]'s home were dictated and confined by the "scope of work" laid out by an insurance claim. No changes or additions were installed beyond this "scope.") Our contractors met with the [Member Name Removed] in early May 2019 because of a stain that had recently appeared in the master closet, and they were preparing to sell their home. A cursory inspection was performed by our contractors during this meeting, and a more intensive inspection was done by a crew leader soon after, no error nor damage was found in any shingles, underlayment, etc. It was observed and relayed to the homeowners on multiple occasions, that the design of the roofline presented a problem area where water could gather due to the absence of a snow pan and the bitumen material that would be present with this modification. This solution was seemingly ignored by the [Member Name Removed], and instead it was requested that the area be re-caulked. Water was then discovered in the unfinished basement, following heavy rains. The homeowners now insisted that the gutters needed to be sealed. All requests made by the homeowners were completed by Ratliff at zero cost, but with strong caution that these "solutions" would not alleviate the issue. Over a 3-week period, there were 5 on-site visits with the homeowners and significant telephone communication with our office manager. A typed letter was sent May 16 (at the bequest of Mrs. [Member Name Removed]) documenting all "steps taken to prevent any further leaking" for when they put their house on the market. Ratliff also sent a formal estimate for a proper snow pan, though this solution had been presented verbally since the first week of May."

Great! I was pleased that Mike called to keep me updated on the work. The crews were friendly, polite, and open to my questions.

We added addition to back of house and Mike came out and installed the gutters and screens. Was there
on time and very efficient. When finished his gutters looked much better than what was on the rest of the house. Will definitely use again if the occasion calls for it.

He was very prompt and professional in coming out to provide the estimate. Ratliff's bid was the highest of the three I received, but only by $100.00. I ended up choosing another service provider because Ratliff does not accept credit cards and I wanted the airline mileage points from putting the purchase on the card. I believe Ratliff would have done a great job and certainly would recommend them to others.

Went well. Estimate was easy, wanted to upgrade from 5" to 6" guttering (along with larger downspouts) after the estimate was already complete. One call and they gave me a new quote over the phone since they already had all the info they needed. Installation a week later. Painless! The work was done well from what I can see. Give the ground a once over after they leave if you've got kids/pets. I found a couple leftover nails/spikes.

We have used Ratliff Guttering to clean our gutters for the past two years. They are punctual, detail-oriented and complete the work in a timely manner. They are very friendly. Yet professional...easy to work with. After meeting with my neighbor to assess hail damage to her roof, they took the time to briefly look at our roof. Once we receive the paperwork from our insurance company we will have them back to do a formal bid for replacing our roof. We will continue to use their services to clean our gutters.

It went very smoothly. The tore off the old gutters and put in new larger gutters to help with an overflow issue we have had in the past.

He came out quickly and confirmed that the roof vent was cracked where it met the roof. As soon as he replaced the roof vent, the water stopped coming in and the leak and water damage was stopped. I had complained that the water was coming between the guttering and the fascia and pouring right down on the front porch. He found that the leaves from a large tree in the front yard had completely clogged the downspout which backed up the water and made it run over the front of the gutter. Once he cleaned out the clog, the rain stopped coming down on the front porch.
He did a great job, was fast and concerned about my problem and fixed it quickly.

I contacted them through here and set up a day/time for my estimate. Showed up a day early AND fit me in the next day for new gutters. They noticed some wood rot and called me asking if I wanted them to replace or have someone else do it.. I had them do it! They did a great job! I will recommend them to friends, family and clients!
