It was excellent. He did a great job cutting my trees and it was very good. He was very professional and it was all good.

Larry was good.

My father would have done this himself 5 years ago but is unable to now so he knew what needed to be done and how it should look when finished.
The guy wouldn't take any suggestions and didn't appreciate any supervision. He was and quot;a professionaland quot; and and quot;knew what he was doingand quot;.
This cage is the most shoddy excuse for and quot;professionaland quot; labor that I have ever seen. I am now going to have to figure out how to fix it up to look and function as needed. The wire was not stretched tight and it was not finished at the edges so it wouldn't grab you when you walked near it. He didn't measure the overall size and scale it to the 8' 2x4 material he had so there are scab boards to make up the length he decided to build. One such 2x4 section along the top isn't even level!
Awful! Wish I had done it myself.

Everything went very well. Larry showed up when he said he would and completed everything for the price he estimated

Larry responded immediately to my phone call and came to my home within 2 hours. Since he has done numerous tasks for me over the past three years, he is totally familiar with the layout house and was quickly able to rule out possible causes. He had several suggestions for more specific evaluation by heating and plumbing specialists. I depend on Larry's expertise whenever I have a problem, and if he can't resolve an issue he generally has a suggestion for other reliable/professionals to contact.

the estimate and the time that they said that they were going to spend on the house with the remodel sounded very impressive to me. as the job continued somedays they did not show up for work other days they were late. the work that was done to finish my basement i would say would be a grade C or even D, i almost not F. the painting and and dry wall work has to be redone in 30-40% of the basement. not impressed with their work and quility of work, when you have to redo someone elses work, i would have been easier for me now to do the work myself!!!!!

Totally dependable, friendly, professional ... Larry is my go-to man for residential projects large and small, gives good advice and cares about his customers.

Larry was a pleasure to work with. He came when he said he would, accommodated all of my requests for touch up and additional repairs, and did an excellent job overall.

I found Larry the Handyman on Angie's List on May 23. He was not the highest rated nor the one with the most glowing reviews, but besides needing my house painted I need someone who I can call for other projects.
I had already secured one painting estimate (which I got the painter from Angie's List) that was way more than I had expected or could afford.
Larry the Handyman came to my house on the evening of the day I called him. He was friendly and professional, but most of all he listened to what I had to say about getting the work done on my house. He gave me an estimate I could afford and a true interest in my projects.
On the first day it didn't rain he was here with 2 helpers and began work on the wood replacement parts of the house. He discussed with me each decision which had to be made about the wood, and which panels and so forth. My repairs were quite extensive.
The workers were polite and friendly. Other than construction noise there was no disruption of my routine. In 4 days time I have a beautifully repaired and painted home without going into debt.
I will use Larry the Handyman for my other projects, and already have several things on the list.

Larry is always a professional; estimates are accurate, and work is completed as scheduled, I have used his services many times over the past 18 months for projects both big and small. He is knowledgable and freely consults others in specialty areas. His employees are well supervised. He is the first person I consult when I have some work to be done.

Because Larry is so likable and easy to get along with, the whole project went very well. He did most of the work himself, but he had others come in to do some specific tasks. He was always right on top of their work. We gave him a key to our house, and our dog eventually thought he was part of the family. Larry doesn't stop a task until it is just right. He'll keep coming back even for the smallest detail. When we asked to have some caulk removed in favor of grout, he never batted an eye. He came back a couple of times until we were satisfied. I'm glad I now have Larry as a resource and have recommended him to a number of others.

They came out to replace the door and were here for several hours because we found a lot of problems once the door was out. 48 hours later Animal Control was here concerning the complaint about my cats being outside. The officer had used the exact words that I had told them. I had to get them licensed, proof of vaccines, and each year I will have to have them licensed. I will not hire Larry again because of what happened.

Wonderful. Larry and his son Austen arrived a little late but that was ok. It was pouring buckets of rain this morning and I had nothing else pressing to do. They went to work immediately piecing the opener together, cutting a wood support for the track and installed it with precision. Once they were done with this I asked them if they had the time to cut the wall out some and install the insulation. That wasn't a problem for them either. They cleaned up after themselves and were very professional and pleasent to visit with. Larry and Austen answered all my questions and did not once try to say this or that needed to be done before they could do whatever else needed to be done.

Everything went well. I talked to him on Monday, he came to the house on Tuesday and gave me the estimate, and did the work on Thursday. As the house is rental property, the tenant was not inconvenienced, and the tub area is back in shape.

He did a fine job!

I am not happy with him and I choose him because he was on Angie's List. He did okay with the shingles, but we had a problem with the side door sticking when he finished. I mentioned the garage door and he said it was because of the humidity. When he left my husband fixed the door himself. It took him 20 minutes in the bathroom and he charged me a $100.

Larry is great to work with. He responds quickly to calls, even if he is busy. He arrives on time if not early. He finished all of the work for what I considered extremely reasonable price (the amount quoted above did not include supplies). He even waited around to make sure the dog I was adopting could get through the gate (he loves dogs and was great with this one).

It went great! It took a little longer than first anticipated, but that was because Larry was determined to do a perfect job, and came back to fix every little defect.

He follow through with his work.

We had an appointment scheduled but he was able to call and schedule our meeting at an earlier day and time He was going to start on a Monday. He called Sunday, stating he was running late with another job and could we reschedule. We did and he came, performed the work and it was very good. I would use his service again.

We had found a top rail for the fence which was the correct size, but not quite the same style. Larry's wife helped him get the bottom rail out so it could be put on the top. That was not easy. He then assembled the fence putting the new rail on the bottom where it would not show. After scraping off all the old caulk on the playhouse, he placed boards around the bottom and caulked them, then he patched up the inside with boards on the floor and caulking around the edge. Larry put insulation between the chimney and the house and then ran caulk along both sides of the chimney. Since there was enough insulation to plug up gaps on the inside of the fireplace, he did that too, even though it was not part of his original bid. We had been experiencing a lot of cold draft the last few winters, but with the work Larry did the draft problem is solved. All of the jobs were done to our satisfaction. Larry always arrived when he said he would, worked quickly, and did a great job.
