Company is also known as HISCO Design/Build. Estimated completion date was approx 3 weeks but after all of the problems, it took 3 months. Initial design did not work despite a computer generated drawing & had to revert to initial desired design. Even though we provided .jpg photos of items we wanted (or actual brochures) he still ordered wrong items, some repeatedly. Plumbing valves were incorrectly installed & wall had to be cut open to fix. Ordered wrong bathtub; ordered wrong onyx vanity twice then tried to charge us (again) for the one we wanted. Onyx shower surround was installed incorrectly, one panel was wrong size and they were going to jury-rig to fix it. Painters had to return twice to correct their sloppy work. Rather than go with their onyx fix, we terminated the contract and paid him off. This company is a member of NARI and the owner is 2nd VP of KC Chapter. City building permits were not pulled until day before walk through, 3 months after start of the job.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THE DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO AND WERE METICULOUS ABOUT DOING THE WORK RIGHT. THEY HAD TO GO OVER SOME AREAS SEVERAL TIMES TO GET GOOD COVERAGE. IF THERE WAS A QUESTION OR CONCERN, THEY ADDRESSED IN PROMPTLY.

THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP ON THE DAY THE JOB WAS TO BEGIN AND ATTEMPTED TO RESCHEDULE FOR THE FOLLOWING WEEK WHEN WE CALLED THEM THAT MORNING. ALTHOUGH THE CREW WAS VERY NICE TO WORK WITH, I FEEL THAT THEY LACKED THE SKILLS TO PERFORM A JOB THIS COMPLEX.
