I really enjoyed having Walter perform this work. He did an excellent job and he worked really quickly to help me meet an aggressive schedule for this project. During the job, I talked to him quite a bit and got some ideas for additional projects around here. He's a true craftsman. I even paid him a bonus because I was so pleased with his work.

, Walter also arrives early betwen 8:15 and 8:30 depending on when his son needs to get to school. He works all day and he may take a short lunch of a sandwich but he's back to work quickly. He generally cleans up for the door around 4:30 and is gone by 5:00 or 5:30. He works hards. Keeps to himself. Is very pleasent to talk to and he is frinedly by not overly so. I enjoy learning this from him. Always cleans up after his work. I am impressed by his work ethic and about his capabilities and his willingness to try things.

I called Walter about some cabinet refacing/painting and he arrived that same day to give an estimate. He then sent me a proposal that night which was very reasonable.
He told us exactly what he would do and why. He arrived promptly at 8:00 on three different days. He was very dilligent and professional, the entire time. I believe his specialty is tiling - kitchen and bathroom restoration. But, he seems to be skilled in a lot of different areas. I would not hesitate to call him for a variety of interior work. It was a sincere pleasure hiring Giesbrecht Tiling and Painting.

Walter was the first contractor we called based upon a recommendation of a co-worker for whom Walter had remodeled two bathrooms from studs to finish. He met with us, discussed the job, made recommendations, and submitted an estimate within two days. We were comfortable with him after meeting him, the bid seems reasonable in light of the work, and we respected our co-workers opinions about his work. One of us actually saw the work he did at another job. He was specific about each part of the job and detailing whether materials were included or whether we were purchasing items. This made the job easier to visualize in terms of what we were paying for. He required one third payment after he did one third of the work and so on. He was always prompt, arriving to work at around 8:30 and finishing up around 5-6 depending on a natural stopping point. He had to work around our electrician and the installation of our counter top but was very accommodating. He communicated well and helped me through some decisions. We bought the tile ourselves and had problems with getting some of the tile after Christmas. It actually took almost a month before we received the final shipment of our tile. He worked around that. He was very professional, cleaned up after everyday. He's very good at everything he did. The installation of the tile was perfect. We hope to have Walter remodel our bathrooms this summer.
