They installed the new carpet. They gave some advice when a shower door glass installation resulted in broken glass on carpet they had just installed the day before. They came to replace the damaged carpet after an insurance claim. They are very efficient and conscientious professionals.
It was just a very rewarding experience having Fuzzy Side Up with Adam and Troy do our carpet install.
The carpet install looks great and it was really a pleasure getting to know them. We look forward to recommending them to others!
When the two fellows showed up from the Fuzzy Side Up showed up, I made the same mistake most people made thinking they were simply the installers employed by the company from whom I purchased my carpet. This was not the case. These two gentlemen were self-employed installers who hired out their services to the company with the best job(s) available on a given day. My personal opinion is from the quality of their work, their reputation has likely got them the choicest of the jobs simply because they are so good.
The carpet we had removed had been in our house for 23 years. From day one, we could see a particular seam that ran right through the middle of our Great Room. We changed the configuration of this install so although we would have more seams, the would be in less conspicuous areas of the room. We anticipated being able to see the seam initially, but could not. These guys are good! Knowing what I know now, I would have paid extra to have had them install my carpet. We are also having our basement refinished and I offered to PRE-PAY them for the labor part of that job in an attempt to entice them to come back to do the install of the basement carpet. The refused to accept the prepay, but promised to do everything in their power to fit us in when the time came. I certainly hope they do as the installers can make bad carpet look good and make good carpet look GREAT!
