Flooring Evolutions

We were debating on either vinyl planks or staining the concrete when we finished our basement. Our contractor gave us a business card for Flooring Evolutions so we gave them a call. We had no idea how much it would cost to do the job, but we thought it was worth the phone call. They were very easy to contact and Anthony Portillo came out quickly to give us a bid. He was very professional and a very likeable guy. He was able to quote a price within our budget so we hired them on the spot. An appointment was made to do the job the very next week! I was a little disappointed when Anthony called the day before our appointment to reschedule, and I know our contractor was more disappointed because he was working around Flooring Evolutions. Our job was only postponed for 3 days. The day of the job they showed up on time ready to go! The first day they prepped the area to protect our walls, brought in their equipment, ground down the cement to the necessary levels, removed all the sludge to an outside container, cleaned everything up and went home to let the floor dry. The second day they stained the concrete and put 3 layers of sealer on, allowing each layer to dry. They removed all the protective plastic, cleaned everything up and left a beautiful stained and sealed floor to dry overnight.

We love the floor and we receive nothing but compliments from anyone who has seen it.
