COMPLETE TREE SERVICE

Absolute ripoff. K&S made the deal with us and complete tree care showed up to do the work. These guys are destructive workers that are absolute crooks. I do not recommend Complete or K&S. Got the check for 5 grand, cashed it, came back and got the workers and left. These a****** should be put out of business

I had Manuel, Robert’s partner trim our giant oak late in the fall. At the time of the trim, he determined one limb was too to a line to be removed. He included the cost of it in with the rest of my payment, promising to return as soon as KCPL trimmed the limb. It was after the new year before KCPL trimmed the limb. I tried numerous times both in the spring and in the fall to have Manuel return to remove the rest of the limb and also remove 3 other dead branches he missed and he has ghosted me. I’m super frustrated!!! This was someone my dad and his neighbors have used many times, so not only has he lost my future business, but he’s loosing theirs, too. Do NOT recommend this business.

They were working for a neighbor and he recommended them, so I requested a quote. They offered a price about 1/3 of what I expected. No advance payment requested. Started late the same day. Missed the next day because of rain. Came before noon the next, finished in less than 4 hours, with about a 15 minute lunch break. They removed to ground level two fairly large (about 12-14" diameter) trees (Bradford pear and pine), and several huge branches from a sweet gum tree overhanging our roof, as well as cleaning up additional large branches that I had previously cut off the gum myself. Did a through clean-up job both in the yard and on the street and driveway. It was a 3-man crew, and all were courteous and used proper safety equipment. Note: This work was done during the COVID-19 shut-down.

I've used these guys before and they were really good.  They were responsive in the past and did get by to remove my dead ash tree.  Which is why I was very disappointed with their follow up.  I had also recommended to my friends as well.  They promised to call the utilities and come back remove my stump for $50 the following week. I called them back when I did not hear back from them and they asked me to call the utilities, which I did.  When they did not show up, I called Bob again and he said that they would come out yesterday.  Again they did not show up, so I called Bob this morning.  So far they have not shown up.  Now it looks like I will have to hire another person to grind the stump which will most likely cost over $100. Makes me wonder if Bob regretted the $50 quote.

He removed the tree and cleaned up the entire area but left the stump of the tree.  He told me that in order for him to come back and remove the stump I would have to pay him an additional $200.00.  He said that he was unable to remove the stump because of the landscaping bricks that were originally surrounding the tree. I had the bricks removed from someone else and he is still charging me an additional $200.00 to finish the job.  I have called him several times and he has missed the appointments that he has made with me.
