Attempted to fix the AC to improve cooling, but all they did was change the filter and turned the thermostat down to 52. This led to an overload of condensation in our basement and flooded an area with many boxes. This ruined what was in the boxes and we're still not sure what they messed up to cause this. They were asked to return by our home warranty, and A Moore was very rude about setting up a repeat visit, so we opted to use another provider. Avoid!

This provider came to my house through my home warranty company.  On the first visit the plumber was very nice however he did not fix the leak.  I called them to come back out and the second visit they sent a different plumber who spent more time telling "jokes" than looking at the leak.  He said he had to come back with another guy to fix the problem.  On his third trip he came back WITHOUT another guy to fix the leak and behaved deplorably.  I was a woman home alone with a small baby.  This 50 year old man told me multiple inappropriate "jokes" about older men and younger women.  He mentioned that he liked the music I was playing and that he felt like we were in my dorm room.  He then spent a good 10 minutes in the bathroom.  When he left he forgot his tools and I had to chase him down the street to give them back.  He then called the next day to ask if he left more of his tools and if he could come back and pick them up.  He did not leave anything else.  And to top it off, the leak is way worse and there is more water in my basement after he "fixed" the drain.

I think they did a great job when they came here. The technician was nice and he saved me money by simply doing a repair 
rather than having me pay for a new part.


The part that is challenging is that they don't do a very good job in creating a specific time when they are going to call.

I called two times on the day. They basically told me to call back at 930 AM. 
I called then and then they said I was the fifth person. I don't know what that means.

I had hang out in my house all day until about 4 pm til he came. 

It would be much better to have a specific window of time.

He checked it our thoroughly and found a few things that had gotten stuck.  Did not waste any time, but got right to the issue.  Explained what the problem was and gave me a repair estimate.  Very friendly and detail oriented.

They came when I needed them, and were professional and polite.  The price for labour was more than reasonable.
I have tried other repair places, but I have long since stopped going to anyone else.  When they fix something, it is fixed, and if it truly needs replacing, they will say so.

My husband and I were very impressed with our service provider, Will.  He obviously takes pride in providing great service to customers. He was friendly, helpful and very professional and had suggestions for us on our appliances - such as maintenance for our LG Washer which had some build up due to fabric softener and suggested a cleaning product which would help the washer perform more efficiently. He found that we had a cracked hose on our washer and quickly ran out and got the part so that we weren't out of a washer over the holidays. He worked hard to figure out what the problem was with our freezer and water dispenser without needlessly ordering new parts if they weren't necessary. I have tried a couple of other appliance repair companies and have been very disappointed with the poor service. I am so happy that I found Will and Moore's service, I will never use another company. I am recommending Will and this company to my friends and family when they need to have their appliances serviced.

Our 10 year old Kenmore dryer stopped working. The repair person showed up about an hour after we called. It helped that we lived in the neighborhood. The service was efficient, the problem diagnosed quickly and it was repaired in less than an hour. The service call was a little high ($79.99) and did not include any labor costs. We had a broken belt. It was a good experience and we were happy it was a minor fix!

I use a home warranty company and always request Moore's Home Mechanical. No matter what work is needed (plumbing, appliances, etc), they are always professional and they make sure the work is done right every time. I highly recommend this company.

I had a plastic part broken in the fridge. Not only did this company respond right away and professional. They actually were able to get the special part the same day.
I was using a warranty company. I was worried about delays of getting it repaired. It actually went through really well.
I have no complaints.

The work went well but there was a slight gas smell when they were done. I noticed it after they left. I decided to fix it myself because I knew I could do it right. The source was that the installer used a pipe nipple that was a little too short. This caused stress on the gas line and the mating surfaces of the union were not flush and thus the leak. I went to the hardware store, bought a longer pipe nipple and installed it and the problem was solved.

Filed a claim with our home warranty company and was assigned Moore's Home Mechanical Services to assist with our claim. I called the company and requested a certificate of insurance showing they had current coverage before the work started and the company representative refused to provide proof of insurance to us. After I requested proof of insurance and they refused to provide it, I responded that they could not work on our property without providing proof of insurance (a standard business practice in construction), the company rep said she would have to ask the owner if they could do that, I responded that I work in insurance and it is common practice to ask for proof of insurance, she said she would have to get back to me and let me know if they could do that.
End result, they canceled the service call, and to top it off, the only way we found out they canceled the service call was because my wife called in to give them her phone number since she had to run to the store and was notified at that time they would not be coming.
As a homeowner, you need to protect yourself, if you let a contractor work on your property without insurance then you are responsible for any damages or if they get hurt. Always ask for proof of insurance to better protect yourself.

"Our company provides proof of liability insurance, proof of worker's compensation insurance as well as back ground checks on all of our employees to (Member name removed)home warranty company. This is required in order to be assigned service calls. (Member name removed) was advised of this when he spoke with our CSR - at that time, he advised her that he did not trust his home warranty company and wanted the information directly from us. (Member name removed) was advised that our company would most likely not provide him with the proof of insurance directly and that he could contact his home warranty for the information. He advised our CSR to cancel the service requests if that was the case. Our CSR contacted (Member name removed) home warranty company and was advised not to provide the information and was also told that they would contact (Member name removed) for claim reassignment. Our CSR did make an attempt to contact (Member name removed) at the number we have listed for him - she was not able to speak with him directly but did leave a message on his voice mail as to the status of his claims. When (Member name removed) contacted our office to check the status of her claims, she indicated that she had just been with (Member name removed) and that he had not informed her about what had gone on."

Jason came out the same day I called him, after hours and on a very hot day, looked over my system and offered to call the company that manufactured my heat pump. He was able to get them to give me a credit toward a new heat pump and also gave me a great price on a new furnace. He and Chris showed up on the date (and exact time) he told me and they worked 5 hours in the heat to get everything up and working. I can't say enough good things about Moore's as well as all the help Jason gave me before and during the installation. They will be the first call I make for anything that needs to repaired mechanically in my home. I recommend them with hesitation.

Went excellent.  Debbie their dispatcher was extremely nice which left a great impression from the start.  The techs EJ & Chris came to my house on time.  They were both very professional and helpful.  They diagnosed and fixed the problem very quickly.  Appreciate the friendliness and quick service.
The $75 charge was my deductible for the home warranty so not sure what they would have really charged.
