It did not go well:
1. the house did not comply with the plans filed to the City
2. the house did not comply with Building Code, and put my family in danger... for example, columns that were supposed to tie into structure and have solid cores, did not tie into anything and were hollow; the wrong grade of lumber was used; joists were incorrectly attached... there are engineering reports and CIty Inspector reports to back this up
3. the finishing carpentry was of very poor quality... many of the 'square' angles were not square, especially on trim, and several walls are wavy, and several complex joins are a mess
4. the exterior carpentry is very poor... many of the window trims are not only crooked but also not even cut to square
5. there is almost no sound-proofing in the house
6. electrical outlets and switches are minimal and mis-placed
..in short, it is recommended not to trust this builder.
