At all cost DO NOT hire Mathew Matters from Matters Overhead out of Sedan Kansas as he's untimely and unprofessional. Good luck on getting work done or money back as he seems to have one excuse after another. Have had to take legal action as I was unable to resolve with him directly.

DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON! I wrote a review on google and he managed to delete it. The very same thing happened to me as did the 2 people below in this review. I have filed charges against him for theft by deception. He has warrants for his arrest. Since my ordeal with him he has still swindled people. Read reviews people. Matthew Matters gave me a quote ($900) to install a garage door. I paid him half ($450) to order supplies. A week later he asked for $400 to cover the rest of the supplies. He stated that he would be here to install the door later that evening. I went ahead and gave him the money. That night came and went with a no show. Tried texting him for a few days, but no replies. So early on a Monday morning I went to the courthouse and filed a small claims suit against him. That afternoon I texted him letting him know the law suit had been filed against him and I would give him another chance to do right. He finally returned my text later that day and stated that he had broken his phone and his arm, but would be there the following Saturday. Saturday comes, he does not show up. No communication since. Small claims court moves forward for my $850 back. My final statement is - DO NOT HIRE Mr. Matters FOR ANY KIND OF WORK NEEDING DONE.

Matthew Matters gave me a quote ($4375) to install a garage door in my shed. I paid him half ($2200) to order supplies. A week later he requested an addition $700. I told him â no . Two weeks later he made an appointment to install the door and asked for $715 to cover the rest of the supplies. Since we had the installation scheduled I went ahead and gave it to him. Installation date comes (Friday) and he says he is finishing up a project and will be there either that afternoon or Saturday. He says heâ ll work through the weekend to make sure it is completed. Saturday comes, he does not show up. I call twice and text once. He responds heâ ll be there that afternoon. He does not come that afternoon. Sunday morning I call twice and text, but no response. Monday I call and leave message that I will sue him in small claims court for my almost $3000 back. Later I get a text from someone claiming to be his wife that he was in the hospital. He is never tried to contacted me since. I wrote a Google review on his business website, which had another review from someone that paid him over $3000 for services not rendered. Within a few days the website is gone. I have no other option but to take him to court since he will not return my calls.

Matthew came from quite a distance the same day I called. He was professional and courteous. He explained what needed done and why, offering the work at a reasonable price; much less than the first quote, I got. My garage door works great now and is so much quieter. Matters Overhead has my business from now on. I highly recommend Matthew with Matters Overhead.

Does quality work. He cleaned up and hauled off old garage door motor for a small fee. I was very impressed with him . He was supposed to do the job on Saturday morning. The part he ordered was delayed. He called me and apologized for the inconvenience and he came and installed the next morning, which was Sunday morning.

Worked with me on price and knew what he was doing.

Same day service, very professional, took care of my garage door issue in a very timely manner. Will definitely be my go to guy!
