This company uses pipe bursting - there are videos on YouTube. Several of my neighbors have had to have their sewer lines excavated and replaced in our neighborhood, which was built in the 1960s. My sewer drain line failed about 75 feet from the house where the line meets the JOCO WW sewer main. As a civil engineer, the pipe bursting technique appealed to me and it was much less expensive than the other bids. My job was complicated by the amount of rock that they unexpectedly encountered. Pat's crew worked with me to remove tons of rock (large and small rocks) that would have ruined my back yard and they hauled it away. This is difficult and messy work. Pat's crew was very courteous, professional and Pat was always easy to reach by phone, especially when a couple of my neighbors started raising concerns about impacts to their properties. Pat's crew had to jack hammer out a small area of my basement to gain access for the new pipe, but they did a nice job of replacing and finishinng the concrete in area they removed. My advice it that you should not be afraid of pipe bursting -- It will save you a lot of money and you will probably never have to use a rooter service again. You can ask the JOCO Wastewater folks their opinion if you're undecided. October 2023.

Our sewer line failed. Pat and his crew at Midwest Water & Sewer installed a new sewer line for us in a very challenging location. Pat has integrity, is a good communicator, and has a ton of experience in sewer and water line repair/replacement. I strongly recommend Midwest Water & Sewer

If you have a sewer issue, do yourself a favor and call Pat. He’s going to shoot you straight, give you a fair price and get the job done quickly and on-time. He will answer all your questions 7 days a week almost any time of the day. Simply put, Pat and his team know their stuff.

I was very happy with Midwest Water and Sewer. Got a verbal quote over the phone from Pat after describing the length and depth of the sewer line, and his crew did it for the amount quoted. They were quick to get there, which was very important in our situation, and did a good job for a fair price. Pat was very reassuring to talk to. Seemed like a regular guy. Sensible and knowledgeable, with 28 years experience. This was the first time Iâd hired someone for such a job, and he really put me at ease. Very good communicator. Easy to work with. Iâd use them again.

Very much enjoyed working with Pat. Because of the complexity, the project lasted longer than anticipated. Only drawback was we weren't expecting the landscape to have such undoing and upheaval. Talked to Pat about it but he reminded us that "landscaping" after the job was part of what we agreed to in the contract which was true.

Beat price of competitors by about $500 after asking what the best offer was. Left large pieces of old clay pipe in yard; did come to remove them after calling to request further clean up. Were able to get the job done w/in 2 days of estimate.

Got a quote from Pat, he then followed up when he had an opening. Installation lasted 3 days, but my sewer line was 10-14 feet deep, especially where it connected with the county main. They cleaned up the site each day, allowing us to use water as normal each night. Even told us how to help the dirt settle. Super easy to deal with.

The job turned into more than expected due to the depth of the sewer line replacement and unforeseen issues. The entire team addressed every challenge and offered solutions. They cleaned up and replaced everything perfectly. I will hire them again if needed and recommend the m to everyone.

Pat went above and beyond on this job. Originally bid for an easy day and half job to completely replace my water main, over 200 ft to the meter. Unfortunately, my yard ended up being solid limestone, turning the project into my (and his) worst nightmare. However, his backhoe operator is an absolute pro and did a great job busting through the rock to dig the trench. Pat and his two guys worked overtime to make sure that I was never without water while I was home, making sure to complete the water hookup while I was at work. Communication and customer service was excellent. Price of work (considering the difficulty) was definitely more than reasonable. The original bid was well below other bids I had received, but quality of work was never compromised. Even with the extra work due to the rock, the final bill was still under many of my received bids. I would recommend Pat and his guys to anyone and everyone that needs a water main or sewer/septic line replaced or repaired. Great team. Professional, courteous, punctual and quality work.

Pat was extremely helpful and explained all my needs and how he and his crew would meet them. He felt the job could take as long as a day and a half, but completed the work in one day and I have had no sewer problems since. After checking with numerous companies I feel the price for the work was a great value. Don't hesitate to hire Midwest Underground for your plumbing needs.

Was done on time, as promised, no unpleasant surprises. Pat was very patient in explaining the process and answering questions. His price was substantially lower but there was no lack of quality. I will admit he was very informal, which caused me concern about his professionalism, but those concerns were put to rest by his follow up, his follow through, and the quality job done by his company. Don't let it deter you. Midwest Underground is as good a company as anyone could want to work on their home.

Very pleased with the work. The communication and customer service was excellent. The work was done on time and the quality was quite good. I was able to see the work as it progressed. The worksite was left in as good if not better shape than it was originally. The cost was reasonable and I would highly recommend this company for sewer main repair.

Pat and his 2 man crew actually repaired a sewer line. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing water or sewer work done at their home. They were friendly, professional and the quality of their work was great. Their prices were considerably less than the other, bigger companies I contacted.
