For watering the main lawn, everything went well.

In my previous house, the installer put misters all along the border of the house, so the near yard could be watered without getting the walls of the house wet.

 In my backyard, KC Irrigation seems to be doing some of it by controlling the arc of the sprinkler heads along the sides of the house and the patio.  There are two results from this:

 If I do not want the house to get watered, it is near impossible to water the grass right near some parts of the  house.

If I want to water the grass near the patio, I must also water part of the patio.  Therefore I must arrange my patio furniture partially based on the how the water sprays.

In my front flower bed instead of misters, again, they put in a soaker hose.  However, unlike the black ones you buy at the store, that kind of blend in, this one is a brown that stands out from 30 feet away.  Also, instead of  hundreds of tiny holes, guaranteeing water throughout the bed, this one has a hard shell with a hole every several inches.  One installer told me the whole thing would be buried, but it is not.  I did cover it with mulch, but that does not remain for long.

They were quite responsive to my calls for questions and adjustments, initially.  Since I paid the bill, however, my one text and one phone message, over two weeks ago, have not been responded to.

Not great, not bad.

I would use them again, but would instead on a schematic of my property and every single sprinkler head of any kind, along with a description of whether it was a popup, external or buried.

While we moved into our house three months ago, we had to wait for warmer weather before the irrigation work could be done. However, during the building process Greg came out to the house on more than one occasion to meet with the builder and the contractor who would be pouring our patio to discuss how to most effectively grade our yard and ensure water would properly drain from our yard.  Once the weather warmed up and our yard was dry enough for the system to be installed Greg and his workers were at our house at the agreed upon day and time.  The work was completed ahead of schedule and they took the time to explain everything they had done with the French drain and the workings of the control box for the irrigation system.  This is the second home we have used KC Irrigation and wouldn't consider using anybody else.  In addition to their quality work, their customer service cannot be beat - they are easy to get in touch with and if there are ever any issues they have someone out that same day.
