I needed a home improvement job and was pleased with Brian Cornelius' work.

Excellent experience. I dealt with Tom Johnson, Project, Manager, initially during the proposal process and through out completion of the project. He was detailed and easy to work with. I selected Gahagan-Eddy because (1) Tom's proposal was more thorough regarding options available, than the other 4 bids I received and (2) I felt IF any problems were to arise they would be reasonable to work with because Tom seem very interested in my satisfaction. I was 100% satisfied with the project.

I didn't dislike anything. They were very promt and curtious. They were easy to get along with and they cleaned up every night.

Brian Cornelius was prompt, courteous, and had the right answers. They replaced our shake shingles with Certainteed Grand Manor roofing.. Its a really beautiful (but expensive) roof. Gahagan-Eddy employees did an excellent job. They cleaned up completely and finished the job as scheduled. We are very pleased and would recommend them to anyone.

The only contact I had with this company is through Brian, one of the General Managers and, of course, the crew. As anyone in a hail damaged area can attest, many so called roofing company representative can be pushy and nearly all refuse to give you an estimate in spite of their free estimate claims. Brian was not anything like that. He came when he said he would and he gave us a written estimate with prices for 6 different roofing materials. He dropped the estimate off and left us alone to come to our decision. He didn't bug or pressure us and we appreciated that.

A slight delay with the materials delivery and some rainy weather delayed the installation for a few days. But, once the crew got going, they got the job done in the expected amount of time. An issue I had with the crew is that they left cut pieces of plywood lie on the grass all day in the sun which caused brown, dead looking spots all over the lawn. Also, when they finally went home for the night, they left my yard littered with pieced of plywood, ladders and various tools. It was hot those days so it would have been better for the lawn to be able to run the sprinklers overnight. There was also a couple of broken limbs (minor) on two of my trees and some minor crushing to some of the bushes from roof debris. These guys work very hard and it was very hot so I understand why they didn't spend the time each night to fully clean up. But, it would have been nice if they could have done a little more and been, perhaps, a little more careful with the shrubs and trees. Most of the brown spots on my lawn have recovered, but it's take until fall for some of them to return to green, especially now that the hot weather has settled in. I assume this is not unique to this crew, but, never the less, if you are very particular about your landscaping, you will probably not like that part of it.

Some trim on my garage got hooked by their trailer when they pulled it off the driveway. It caused several hundred dollars worth of damage, but Brian took care of it immediately and all is well. Stuff happens and the important thing is that they took responsibility and took care of it.

I think this company did an excellent job and I would highly recommend them. I think the problems with the crew is probably normal for this type of work, but a little more concern for landscaping, especially when it's hot, would be appreciated. The grass and shrubs will recover so it's not anything worth getting upset about.

The salesperson was very professional. I didn't have much time to meet with him because my husband and I work during the day, so he measured the roof when we weren't home, then left us a very quick version of what we needed to know. He gave us several pricing options and even a color recommendation! We plan to live here for awhile, so I wanted one of the nicer options. It also helped that their website was so informative. Between the brief meeting and visiting their website, it really made up my mind. I had some other roofing companies bid the job first, so it was interesting that this bid gave me the cost of labor, etc. I felt very informed knowing exactly where my money was being spent. The other companies did not do that. The crews were professional and cleaned up every day. I stayed home on the day my roof went on and saw my salesperson there several times during the day to make sure everything was done right. When he saw a little flaw that I didn't even notice, he spoke to the crew and they made sure it was perfect. I am very happy with my new roof. I would definitely recommend them to others. They seem to be a very good company.
