Landscaping
$3,500
Paid fully in April. This was plenty of time to get yard seeded prior to heat of summer when I purchased my house. I also paid him to landscape the back and bring in good topsoil. Getting him to come and work was a joke. I called numerous times. His family members would answer and take messages, calls were seldom returned. When he did he would put me off telling me due to the rain, etc. One day it was beautiful and he did not return my call. By the time he did come out and seeded my yard, the weather was hot and the only thing that grew was weeds. When I told the man who installed my fence (topsoil was full of seeds and I continue to have problems with barnyard grass), he laughed as it was so pathetic. For an additional $1000 he and several men came out and worked the soil in the back with compost and amendments (Thank you Dicky Cleland for the excellent work you did on this nightmare). I saw Mr. Vail at Wiseman?s while buying new tires, explained my disappointment asking him to come and look at the job he did. He said he would and he never came out. My cousin visiting from California put round up on the front that was ?seeded?, regraded, put a new layer of soil on it, and started from scratch. He also seeded the back inside the fence outside my perennial borders.
