We got off to a shaky start as my call to get a quote was not returned. After a week, Ken called me back and profusely apologized for the fact that my message had been lost and set up a time to come give me a quote. Ken came out and we discussed the project at length. He had been in the business for many years and was very knowledgeable. The quote he gave was on par with a couple other installers, but I felt he was much more honest and straight-forward than the others I had received quotes from. I ended up hiring GK Smith and Sons for the job. Putting in a GSHP is an extensive process. First the drilling subcontractor came and drilled the wells. After they finished, Jeff and Chris spent several days installing and hooking the system up. They were always very professional and clean. They put down mats to protect the floor and cleaned up after themselves when they finished for the day. Ken even had his guys come in and haul off some big rocks left by the drilling subcontractor, which he didn't have to do. I've been very satisfied with GK Smith and Sons and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

GK Smith and Sons immediately answered their phone and said "we will have somebody out there as fast as they can" and they were here within 2 hours and fixed it. They're very punctual and very fast. They also remember if they have been in the same house before.

We had to go all electric. They did real professional work and I'm really satisfied. They are friendly and courteous. I got 2-3 estimates and they weren't far apart. They were on time and took a couple of days to put it in and did what they said they were going to do. They are pretty well know in this area and surprised they are not on Angie's List. I don't have anything bad to say about them. They get all high ratings and I will continue to use them.
